Great gyros and chicken platter…rice was perfectly done…give it try I think you will go back
A hidden gem! We had a surprisingly delightful experience! The staff are wonderfully friendly and the food is very good and FAST!!
The kitchen staff saw us bobbing our heads to the music and all of them smiled so big and turned it up. We had a spontaneous dance party!!

We ordered chicken kabob and a Mediterranean platter, which was great. They have complementary tea in a big pot too

Placerville Gyro and Shawarma Grill is a hidden gem offering excellent Mediterranean/Afghan food. The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned, and fresh. The kabob, falafel, shawarma, lamb and steak gyro, mango lassi, and baklava are all wonderful. The lavash is fresh and soft. The staff are wonderfully friendly, respectful, and provide great customer service. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, with a well-run family atmosphere. It is always busy, and the food is very good and fast. A spontaneous dance party even happened when the kitchen staff turned up the music. This is a great new restaurant in Placerville, with another location in Cameron Park. Definitely recommend.
