Amazing. Every aspect of it, just amazing.
From the outside this place looks very unassuming, step in and its well decorated with bar and reception area right up front. The brick exterior walls and the wood bar and flooring make for a classic rustic feel and looks right at home in North Wine Country.
The other dining areas are equally classy but it's not until you go outside that you get the full picture. It opens up to a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden with a marble & tiled bar, tiled seating area all framed by greenery.
Once you sit down and take it all in with your favorite drink you are treated to a delicious Italian cuisine. I went with a large lunch party and was treated with a sausage penne in a tomato cream sauce. It wasn't too creamy and the sausage had a real nice spice to it, it was wonderfully executed. We also had a cheese lasagna which was unique compared to the lasagna's that I've had and made in the past but was still delicious.
One thing that was interesting is that the party I was with has several food restrictions but that didn't stop the kitchen from bringing out Gluten Free garlic bread, Vegan and vegetarian pasta dishes for our food-sensitive friends.
Lastly, and I cant state this enough, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server was patient with our large group of particular eaters, took pictures of all of us, kept the drinks rolling out and had plenty of support to keep us all fed and happy.
I live 90 minutes away and I would have NO PROBLEM coming back and I will definitely recommend Catelli's to friends and family.
A favorite spot for a meal anytime in the afternoon. Delicious food & attentive service. Plan to take some time & try every course.
We went here for my birthday dinner a couple nights ago, and I’m so glad we chose this place! All of the food was superb, but special nods to the truffle fries, Caesar salad, lasagna, and the penne pasta with the sausage and cream sauce (Michael’s pasta?). Oh, and the tiramisu was impeccable! The server, Cameron, was so attentive and sweet! We all loved the whole experience.
Good italian food.
Looking for a great dinner after wine tastings? Here’s your place! The food is amazing, the service is perfect, the atmosphere is delightful (especially outside). You have to try the clams in white sauce and the lasagna. You can’t go wrong with anything here though - from food to drinks, everything is amazing.
Isabella is one of the best servers we’ve ever come across!
Love this place and will continue to visit anytime we are in the area! 💜
It's been a year since our last visit, same people, same great service, same outstanding guests, equally fantastic food.
Great food and service. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but that's probably due to the great food and service. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Our first time here was purely happenstance. The second was certainly on purpose, and it didn’t disappoint. Cameron was our server and when you go, you must ask for Cameron. He is a real pro. Everything about this place was five star. I hardly recommend it. Also it’s more than just a restaurant. It’s a banquet hall a summer garden And two other private meeting rooms, an extensive facility.
The food was amazing. We started with the most delicious kale salad I’ve honestly ever had. Then we did family style where we shared the mussels with homemade sausage and big fat crispy bread to sop up the sauce (again amazing) & lasagna with a beautifully rich bolognese sauce and super thin lasagna noodles. Just exquisite! Perfect meal! Sorry, no food pics this time. I was too busy eating!!

Service was warm and attentive. Everyone had a genuine smile. Food was perfection. I had the lasagna and surprisingly even with the 10 layers, it wasn’t heavy at all. Rich in flavor and no additional condiments needed. I also had the carpaccio as an appetizer; who would have thought fried capers and arugula would give so much flavor? I loved it! 😍
I would definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Thank you!

I think this place draws an older crowd because it's more of an old school Italian place. Rocking to the oldies as they play it during dinner service was fun, I hadn't heard Louis Prima in years! The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The pasta was okay, seemed a bit like a Mexican restaurant because they serve food on piping hot plates so to me that is a sign of plate it cold first then warm it up. I'm a fairly harsh critic of lasagna and pasta so the average person might not care about that as much. In the end, I'm not going back anytime soon. If you want my top pick for eating Italian food in wine country, check out my other Italian restaurant reviews.

I have never tasted Lasagna like this. My only dilemma is which pasta to order. They are all sublime. I wish I lived closer to this area so I could go more frequently, but the wait makes it all that more special.
