We brought our family of seven for dinner and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor, every dish was something people at the table were genuinely happy with. It’s rare for a group this size to all be pleased, but this was one of those times. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and the service was fantastic. attentive without being intrusive. It was a great dining experience!

They had a lot of craft brews. I didn't see standard beers (Budweiser, Coors). They were selling canned beers like a liquor store. I thought that was odd. The food didn't make me feel that I need to make it a point to come back. I had a burger.

The Tuna TATAKI was to die for my first time here for a light bite and brew and OMG. It was so fresh, the ponzu sauce must’ve had something additionally special into it because it was so good sesame seeds. Everything was just amazing. The noodles was a genius addition they were also amazing.
Really really wanted to like this place, the food has such potential but all the proteins we had (pork belly, pork chop, and a burger) were beyond well done. Everything was beautifully presented. We waited about 40 minutes for a table, and upon being seated were told the kitchen was about 30 minutes out. We waited over an hour for our meals. I will say, everyone was friendly, but they could use someone overseeing the service/etc. It appears maybe the woman running the bar was in charge, but difficult to tell. There was a young gentleman who appeared to be a food runner/busser who was insanely friendly and really kept people there. Would try again, hoping for different results.

Drinks and service alright, food not so good. Chicken wrap was horrible, meat consistency ..just like hard rubber..

Ordered medium burgers and got well done. Bacon cheese and sauce was pretty much non existent. Bread also fell apart. Service was nice and location relaxing and a nice vibe.

The outside patio was nice, with a wood slat fence for some privacy. And the variety of succulents in the planters are a nice touch. I had the Waygu Loco Moco. The sauce was tasty over the rice. The egg and Waygu patty were cooked as ordered. My wife enjoyed the mahi mahi tacos. The pesto chicken sandwich my son had was tasty and light with crispy fries. It wasn't busy as we stopped by between lunch and dinner. We were seated promptly and the server was attentive.

This was my first vist. It was a Tuesday at late lunch time. Plenty of seating available. I guess many people don't know yet about this great restaurant!
They have a good menu including an extra page with the daily specials. There are some surprising items on the list you may not expect at an Alehouse in Gilroy!
I had the Japanese Curry & Pork Katsu. It came sizzling hot in a skillet and was very tasty!
It is calling itself Alehouse Bistro for a good reason, they have a very good selection of beers (in addition to wine and a nice list of cocktails as well as plenty of non-alcoholic choices). So, you always find something you like!

Wonderful wait staff. Moved and lit a heating unit near our outdoor table. My Mahi Mahi tacos melted in my mouth!

Party of 5 with 5 total entrees and an app. The app (mozzarella) was good, no issues. From the time we got our first entrees to the table, to the final one served, it took about 30 min. So we're just at the table waiting for everyone to be served wondering why someone couldn't organize/time our meals.
The food was decent once we got it all (mostly cold at this point) but wildly disappointing to get the whole table served and enjoy a meal together. I see some good reviews but that was not our experience. It could've been a combination of misses in how the restaurant operated tonight.
Second time coming here. First time wasn't great but not nearly this bad. Maybe they were short staffed or there was no manager on duty but pretty rough. I don't recommend but if you go, prepare to wait.
