Everyone was so welcoming, and they gave you SOOO MUCH food!!! I had a breakfast first time, and I had to take half of it home. Last time, I got the senior portion for meatloaf - oh, so good. My wife and I have decided this is going to be our go-to place to eat!!!

Modesto CA worst food ever don't go there bathrooms are really bad
Black Bear Diner is a pretty good restaurant and usually has big portions. Today, my daughter and I got the Moco Loco and we were disappointed with the dish. It was fairly small and the flavor was just ok. I made a better Moco Loco at home. It was edible, though. This is the first time I've been disappointed eating here. Hope it was just fluke ! Everything is usually great.

My first impression of this branch was that the staff was extremely friendly and attentative. The food gets 4 stars because my open-face turkey sandwich came out with luke-warm turkey, and they removed the mashed potatoes that come on the sandwich, when we asked for a baked potato as a side, which seemed odd. Then I had to order mashed potatoes and put them on the food myself, 20 minutes later. Had the staff not been so chipper, I probably would downgrade the overall review. All the other food was really good and, once warmed up, mine was tasty.The decor was true to form and looked well kept and clean. Prices are amazing considering the amount of food you get.I don't have one near me, so I'll definitely be stopping back in when we're going through town.
Experience here was just okay the environment was cool seemed clean but a little too loud like packed they don't care about the noise I like to eat in peace a little silent or just TV noise not people talking yelling other then that the food was
