Black Bear Diner is a pretty good restaurant and usually has big portions. Today, my daughter and I got the Moco Loco and we were disappointed with the dish. It was fairly small and the flavor was just ok. I made a better Moco Loco at home. It was edible, though. This is the first time I've been disappointed eating here. Hope it was just fluke ! Everything is usually great.
My first impression of this branch was that the staff was extremely friendly and attentative. The food gets 4 stars because my open-face turkey sandwich came out with luke-warm turkey, and they removed the mashed potatoes that come on the sandwich, when we asked for a baked potato as a side, which seemed odd. Then I had to order mashed potatoes and put them on the food myself, 20 minutes later. Had the staff not been so chipper, I probably would downgrade the overall review. All...read full review

Everyone was so welcoming, and they gave you SOOO MUCH food!!! I had a breakfast first time, and I had to take half of it home. Last time, I got the senior portion for meatloaf - oh, so good. My wife and I have decided this is going to be our go-to place to eat!!!
