Icicles in Gilroy is such a fun spot for rolled ice cream! They have a great variety of flavors and toppings, so you can really customize your treat the way you like it. I also appreciate that they have good options for people who are lactose intolerant, which makes it a place everyone can enjoy. Their service was very good, and their topping options were good. If they could have more options without cookies or have more gluten-free options, that would be great. My biggest complaint is just that the style of ice cream isn't great. In order to make the ice cream roll, it needs to be very cold, but that makes your mouth very cold and for whatever scientific reason of absence of heat, your taste buds won't pick up taste well when they're cold, so you have to let the ice cream melt a little bit, which defeats the purpose of the rolls. Overall, it was nice, it was good quality.

An absolute highlight for all ice cream lovers! This ice cream parlor offers ice rolls in a huge selection of flavors. The variety of toppings and sauces is impressive, and the best part: you can choose as many toppings and sauces as you want without paying extra! Ordering via a tablet is super practical because you can see all the varieties and toppings at a glance.
The staff is incredibly friendly and the preparation is lightning fast. You notice the freshness of the ingredients straight away - the fruits are freshly cut right in front of your eyes. The ice cream tastes exceptionally fresh and has no artificial taste.
A special experience was the famous garlic ice cream that the area is known for. At first we were a little skeptical about how garlic would taste in ice cream, but we were pleasantly surprised! You can clearly taste the garlic, especially in the aftertaste, but the taste is surprisingly delicious - a little unusual for ice cream, but definitely a must for garlic fans!
