The employees who work at the McDonald's on 1st Street, close to Nob Hill are very friendly and helpful. My favorite time is in the morning for a coffee and sausage and egg biscuit.

I ordered a large Diet Coke from the drive thru. It came to something like $1.68. When I pulled up to pay I dropped a dime on the floor of my car. Couldn't open the door to try to get it and being a senior with back problems, I couldn't bend forward to look for the dime. Told the cashier what happened. I had to drive around the front of McDonald's in order to open the door to get the dime. I assume McDonald's is doing pretty bad to not let me bring the dime...

Yeah, I know... fast food joint... But I will always have a soft spot for McDonalds and this location is a pretty good one in terms of giving you what you order in the drive thru and when I ask for my food made to order "fresh", they almost always get it right.
