I found this place on Yelp & I'm glad I did. I got the Beet Wedge & the horseradish dressing was amazing. I also had the Chorizo tacos - wow! The set up is a lil weird with a pay 1st policy, what if I decide on another glass of wine? I have to pay again? Meh. But not a deal breaker. I will definitely go again if I'm ever rolling around Gilroy.
Small restaurant, with BIG food and amazing FLAVOR. Would 💯 percent recommend. One sandwich can feed two people. Beignets are Delicious. Just do it!
I’ve been here a few times and I always get the shrimp po boy. It’s delicious and always comes with a very generous serving of shrimp. Highly recommend.

Nola Street Kitchen is a cozy and inviting restaurant with fantastic flavor. The food is delicious and a great bang for the buck, with great customer service. The Gumbo with shrimp, red beans and rice with shrimp, and the shrimp po boy are favorites, with the shrimp po boy scoring an 11/10. The fried catfish is a great size, and the fried oyster po boy and Buffalo fried chicken po boy sandwiches are shareable and filling. The bread is slightly toasted and soft with a Cajun flavored sauce. The Mango & Sago and Afterglow drinks are sweet, fruity, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The mockjitos are refreshing. The Jambalaya and Gumbo with shrimp have perfect spices, heat, and food temperature. The original beignets are to die for, though the beignet was ok and Disney beignets are better. The fried okra needs to be eaten fresh, and the garlic bread did not do it. A large order takes time, so plan accordingly, but good food takes time. The staff and owner are outstanding and welcoming. Everything was fantastic and authentic, with the chicken and sausage gumbo being a highlight.
