Flour & Bloom Cakes

The cake flavors were so incredibly delicious. Normally I find wedding cakes very heavy, but these were light, fluffy and not cloyingly sweet. Additionally, I really appreciated all the asian flavors (matcha, sesame) and tart ones (guava, passion fruit, lemon). I ended up eating the leftover cake for days.
In terms of decoration, I could not have asked for a more picture perfect cake, the ombre was exactly what I wanted.

Ora was a dream to work with for our wedding! The tasting was great, she was super flexible with our requests, and the cupcakes were AMAZING. We got SO many compliments on our cupcakes, and we loved our little cake topper to cut.

Ora Beth and her team at Flour and Bloom created a three-tier, mouthwatering masterpiece for our June 2023 wedding at Silverado Resort in Napa. I could not recommend their team more!

Setting up the cake tasting was very easy - Ora Beth is very responsive over email and timing options were reasonable/flexible. The actual tasting was incredible as well. They let us try 8 cakes in their workshop at a private tasting and were so helpful/attentive with all of our questions. They offer a wide diversity in flavor and design, so you can certainly find the cake of your dreams there. We ended up choosing some classic flavors (Almond cake with raspberry buttercream and preserves, olive oil Meyer lemon, and chocolate cake with espresso buttercream and toffee pieces) and appreciated their flexibility to mix and match the cake flavors with the frostings.

Day of the wedding, they deliver and set up the cake, so you don't have to worry about anything. All of our guests raved about how delicious and pretty our cake was. Fortunately we ordered a little extra, so we have some leftovers in our freezer that are supposed to be for our anniversary, but can't say we haven't dipped into it already!!!

I give Flour and Bloom an A++ for incredible taste, great design/presentation, and being easy to work with!

My husband insisted on having a wedding cake, and I must admit, I'm not typically a big cake person. After stumbling upon Flour & Bloom with its amazing reviews, I was intrigued. We scheduled a tasting, sampled 10 different flavors, and were blown away with how delicious each one was. It really was so hard to pick just one! We ultimately chose the olive oil cake with Meyer lemon curd—a flavor combination that had us swooning.What truly set Flour and Bloom apart was not just the incredible taste, but also the exceptional service provided by Ora Beth. She guided us through the process with ease.Ora Beth exceeded our expectations. She brought our vision to life flawlessly. Our cake was not only delicious but also a stunning centerpiece for our special day.Despite the two-hour drive it takes to reach Flour& Bloom, there's no doubt that our next cake will come from them.

Wedding cake of my dreams! Absolutely loved working with Flour & Bloom for my wedding! From the cake tasting to finalizing the floral treatment, Ora Beth and the team are collaborative, creative and wonderful human beings. I got married in Sonoma in May 2023, with a wedding party size of 40 guests. We got the three tiered cake which was the perfect amount, plus some left over :) We selected the lemon olive oil and guava passion fruit. Truly the most incredible cake I've ever tasted. Not only was the cake gorgeous, but my guests kept raving about how it was the best cake they'd ever had. Would 100% recommend Flour & Bloom for your wedding or any event!

This was the best cake we have ever had in our lives!! My husband and I didn't have your traditional wedding cake flavor... We had banana and it tasted so amazing. I'm not super into banana flavored desserts but this was by far the best cake/dessert I have ever had and will be something our guests will definitely remember. Our cake was so beautiful as well. We are SO pleased with Flour & Bloom!

Ora Beth was a dream to work with for our wedding! We had both a cake & cookie table (a nod to our western PA roots) and everyone was blown away by how delicious everything was! Ora Beth was incredibly organized and creative, making the whole process so much fun and stress-free. We live out of state and weren't able to do a cake tasting prior but went with the olive oil & meyer lemon and vanilla & raspberry and they were both outstanding! Our families take the cookie table tradition very seriously and couldn't stop raving about how they were the best cookies they've ever had - trust me, that's a HUGE compliment! :)

We weren’t the type of couple that obsessed about our wedding cake – “cake is cake,” right? Wrong. Flour and Bloom blew us away with the cake that they made for us. After doing a tasting with them, we decided that we wanted to customize a combination olive oil & meyer lemon cake with a raspberry filling and they handled it with ease! The flavor combination was perfect for a hot summer wedding and our guests didn’t stop raving about the cake.

The best cake tasting experience! We are shopping for the wedding cake but this spot is good for everyone to stop by and do a fun cake tasting with family and friends. We did the 10 cake tasting experience, from the light fluffy profile to the dark chocolate dense flavors, they did it all. The taste is abundant, profound; the flavor combinations are both classic and creative; the frosting and buttercream are top notch as you can taste the good quality ingredients. Not to mention, they used various local produce and European products to make it better. Last but not least, the hosts are great and lovely people!

Flour & Bloom was highly recommended by our planner, and I definitely understand why. The cakes are not only gorgeous, but they are unbelievably delicious. The guests at our wedding raved about the cake, especially the carrot cake. Hands down, best carrot cake we've ever had!
