We got our wedding cake from Flour & Bloom, and can’t recommend it enough! We were going back and forth on whether we even wanted a wedding cake - our caterers were providing mini desserts, and we weren’t sure if we needed a cake as well – let’s just say, we’re so glad we went with Flour & Bloom! From our initial tasting, to the day of the wedding, working with Ora Beth was so smooth - after the tasting, we shared the flavors we liked, and she helped us create custom flavors - olive oil meyer lemon for our cake, and almond with orange blossom & apricot preserves for the additional sheet cake. She matched our wedding florals perfectly, and we were so happy with the final look and flavor! So many of our guests told us how unique the cake was, and that it really complemented the other desserts that we had. We even were able to snag a slice to freeze so we can enjoy on our 1st anniversary! We hope we’ll have more celebrations in the future to order cakes from Flour & Bloom in the future!

From the very start at the cake tasting to having our wedding cake delivered and DEVOURED, we knew working with Flour and Bloom was one of the easiest decisions we made regarding our entire wedding. We had a three tiered, three flavor cake that our guests still talk about to this day. The cake was stunning and so soooo delicious, and we couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing it!

Ora Beth and Curt and Flour & Bloom Cakes are the absolute BEST!! Working with them for our wedding cakes was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Starting with the first communications, Curt was so incredibly helpful in helping us schedule (and reschedule) the tasting, and accommodated us when deciding how many of us would attend. When we arrived at their beautiful bakery space, Ora Beth was so kind, and every flavor we tried was so delicious, it made choosing so difficult! The cakes that they ended up making for us, a 3 tier semi-naked Chocolate Chip Espresso cake, and a Matcha Black Sesame supplemental cake, were both unbelievably delicious, and absolutely STUNNING!

Ora Beth and Curt were both incredibly easy to work with and communicate with through every step of the process. From providing input on the cake stand, to making sure we got the right number of servings, to communicating about delivery and fridge space needed, to instructing us on dropping off greenery, and the plan for getting florals from our florist, everything just went so smoothly. They delivered right on time, placed the cake greenery and florals beautifully, and even added supports to make sure that our cake topper would be steady and supported when it came time for us to place it. Us and our guests absolutely LOVED the unique and complex flavors!! We are so grateful for the Flour & Bloom team for making our dream wedding cake absolutely perfect and unforgettable. We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding cake made by Ora Beth and it was truly unforgettable. The almond and raspberry cake was hands down the best cake we’ve ever tasted. It was perfectly balanced - rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every single guest raved about it and many are still talking about how incredible it was! Saying that Flour and Bloom “made” our cake is about as understated as saying Michelangelo “made” the David. Working with Ora Beth was everything. About a month before the wedding, she hosted us in their tasting room, where we enjoyed one delectable bite after another. Ora Beth conducted the tasting much like the hosts at all the surrounding wineries, telling us about the contents and flavors of each sample. As delicious as the tasting was, it could not have prepared us for how magnificent the wedding cake would be. Flour and Bloom delivered the cake to the venue and set it up for a nominal charge given the stress associated with that endeavor. Only the bride shined brighter than the cake in the eyes of our guests, and each piece led to exclamations of “oohs” and “ahhs” from everyone. If you are thinking about who to hire for your wedding, stop! Hire Flour and Bloom and move to the next thing on your list.

Our wedding cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful! We chose two flavors - chai honey and almond apricot - and were impressed by every other sample we tried as well. We were so impressed, we chose a third flavor - banana - for our anniversary cake. The team was able to execute our dream vintage design perfectly, and it was an integral part of our reception decor. We highly recommend Flour & Bloom and will be dreaming about those slices for the rest of our lives!

Ora Beth and her team at Flour and Bloom knocked it out of the park for our wedding cake. She was wonderful to work with and helped us with determining which size cake would work best for our party size. The cake was absolutely delicious and was a hit with our guests! I encourage you to schedule a tasting and see for yourself!

The cake flavors were so incredibly delicious. Normally I find wedding cakes very heavy, but these were light, fluffy and not cloyingly sweet. Additionally, I really appreciated all the asian flavors (matcha, sesame) and tart ones (guava, passion fruit, lemon). I ended up eating the leftover cake for days.
In terms of decoration, I could not have asked for a more picture perfect cake, the ombre was exactly what I wanted.

Ora was a dream to work with for our wedding! The tasting was great, she was super flexible with our requests, and the cupcakes were AMAZING. We got SO many compliments on our cupcakes, and we loved our little cake topper to cut.

Ora Beth and her team at Flour and Bloom created a three-tier, mouthwatering masterpiece for our June 2023 wedding at Silverado Resort in Napa. I could not recommend their team more!

Setting up the cake tasting was very easy - Ora Beth is very responsive over email and timing options were reasonable/flexible. The actual tasting was incredible as well. They let us try 8 cakes in their workshop at a private tasting and were so helpful/attentive with all of our questions. They offer a wide diversity in flavor and design, so you can certainly find the cake of your dreams there. We ended up choosing some classic flavors (Almond cake with raspberry buttercream and preserves, olive oil Meyer lemon, and chocolate cake with espresso buttercream and toffee pieces) and appreciated their flexibility to mix and match the cake flavors with the frostings.

Day of the wedding, they deliver and set up the cake, so you don't have to worry about anything. All of our guests raved about how delicious and pretty our cake was. Fortunately we ordered a little extra, so we have some leftovers in our freezer that are supposed to be for our anniversary, but can't say we haven't dipped into it already!!!

I give Flour and Bloom an A++ for incredible taste, great design/presentation, and being easy to work with!

My husband insisted on having a wedding cake, and I must admit, I'm not typically a big cake person. After stumbling upon Flour & Bloom with its amazing reviews, I was intrigued. We scheduled a tasting, sampled 10 different flavors, and were blown away with how delicious each one was. It really was so hard to pick just one! We ultimately chose the olive oil cake with Meyer lemon curd—a flavor combination that had us swooning.What truly set Flour and Bloom apart was not just the incredible taste, but also the exceptional service provided by Ora Beth. She guided us through the process with ease.Ora Beth exceeded our expectations. She brought our vision to life flawlessly. Our cake was not only delicious but also a stunning centerpiece for our special day.Despite the two-hour drive it takes to reach Flour& Bloom, there's no doubt that our next cake will come from them.
