What an absolutely lovely experience we had. My husband and I sat out in the patio, which has a beautiful and natural setting. The service was impeccable and every person we encountered was nicer than the next; they truly go above and beyond. We split the pizza and the pork dinner and both were mouth watering. The cold leek soup, something I would not normally order, was that farm to table taste and so unique I would order it every time I am there. It was a great dining experience and relaxing evening at the Mill. We were so happy to find this gem.
Perfect for our large family group- service was outstanding- attentive, professional, food in a nice cadence. We sat on the terrace which is lovely. Food was very good!
The Mill at Glen Ellen is one of my favorites. Menu is sensible, every plate a taste treat, service is gracious, and Sanjeev is always a charming and endearing host. Outdoor dining is beautiful and relaxing.
Everyone was so friendly, the food was great, and the outdoor setting was beautiful. It was a lovely evening.
Fantastic setting for outdoor dining. The service, menu options, and food were also quite exceptional. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and drinks. Great service! The staff made sure we enjoyed our meal and experience.
Amazing in every way! Our server Oz was friendly and knowledgeable. Sanjib, host and owner, is gracious and professional. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Can't wait to return to this true gem where excellent service and details are valued! What a find! Highly recommend. Thank you!
Beautiful scenic and historic setting. Upscale cooking techniques and flavors without the pretentious service.. the most kind and attentive service staff have experienced in a long time. Went for Father's Day with two teens that have completely different taste buds. All four of us left with huge smiles and telling each other that we will definitely be back. My husband got the rack of lamb. I got an amazing delicate butternut squash ravioli. My husband‘s rack of lamb was cooked to perfection so tender. Each dish had vibrant flavor profiles to complement the main item. I can't speak enough as to how accommodating they were with minor adjustments to the dishes based on dislikes. Regarding things like tomatoes. Hard to describe, but I wish all the success to this restaurant and if you don't find what you're looking for on the menu, they have a secret menu, which basically means tell him what you're hoping to eat and I'm sure they will figure it out!
Three things are very important at any restaurant: 1. Food 2. Ambiance/View 3. Service Usually restaurants can get the food right but sometimes Ambiance and Service are lacking. A lot of my favorite spots get 2 out of 3 right and I keep going back. The Mill at Glen Ellen gets all three right, every time. The outdoor seating area is a dreamy garden located next to a babbling creek. The service is perfect. Not intrusive, not overdone - instead it conveys the feeling that the staff wants you to have a perfect dining experience. The food is fresh, thoughtfully prepared with lovely presentation. Some how The Mill is a comfortable casual dining experience with an elevated menu. We will always come back!
What a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, we sat outside surrounded by beautiful trees and art, and the food was amazing. We got bread (I mention it because actually it was mind-blowing), French lentil soup, and the pork chop. So good.

We had a truly wonderful dinner at The Mill on Sunday night to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. Our group of six adults was seated in a lovely private area upstairs, which made the evening feel even more special. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. You could tell the staff took pride in their work and cared about creating a great experience. The food was outstanding! We enjoyed perfectly crafted cocktails, warm and delicious bread, an incredible Brussels sprout appetizer, wood-fired pizzas with fantastic flavor, and the ramen bowl was rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. The desserts were the perfect finish—every bite was delicious. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable for such a high-quality meal and experience. The Mill made for the perfect place to celebrate as a family. We'll definitely be back when were in the area!
We enjoy the Mill every time we visit. Great people, great food, & relaxing atmosphere. Sat on the patio this time and enjoyed the nice evening with friends.
We four friends enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch on the patio. Delicious fried tofu, chicken salad, veggie pizza from the wood-fired oven, outstanding clam chowder and delicious cheesecake and raspberry chocolate mousse. The staff were so welcoming and attentive to our needs. It was very sunny and hot and they thoughtfully adjusted three umbrellas a few times throughout the meal so everyone was comfortable. Looking forward to returning soon!
I think the secret is out. This is the most beautiful place to dine outside and the staff is wonderful. The menu is a little confusing, but the food is delicious! They have quite a few vegan and vegetarian options, which is my thing, but my carnivore friends are equally impressed. If all restaurants were this accommodating, it would be a pretty wonderful world. Good vibes are so important!
Creekside al fresco dining on a beautiful deck covered with flowers was exceptional! We felt as though we had left home and were on a delightful vacation-15 minutes from home! Don't miss the Wagyu cheeseburger with bacon and crispy French fries. The outstanding fried tofu was a delicious starter. Excellent house made Bloody Mary topped off the best lunch in a long time.
