The Mill continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. We consider it one of our weekly visits. We love the food, the service and and environment. Highly recommend the Mill to locals and vacationers alike.

The food was absolutely delicious. The Wagyu burger and BLT are delicious. My friend and I shared and they even split the sandwiches and served them half and half for us on each plate. That was impressive. The presentation was beautiful and large portions. The staff was amazing and always checking in and refilling drinks or removing plates. The ambiance was perfect. We ate on the tree covered patio. It was a serene and wonderful experience.

From the moment we arrived at The Mill at Glen Ellen, we knew we were in for something special. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman we assumed was the host only to later discover he was the owner and chef himself, which made the experience even more memorable. We shared the Charred Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was phenomenal, it was perfectly crisp and full of flavor. I ordered a salad, which was fresh and beautifully presented. For our main course, my wife ordered the lamb burger, which she declared to be the best she's ever had and she's enjoyed lamb burgers in numerous cities across North America. Since it was our anniversary, the restaurant kindly treated us to a dessert of our choice. We selected the warm chocolate cake with ice cream, and it was absolutely amazing, the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal. Our server (we believe her name was Sasha) was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We were impressed to hear she had only recently joined the restaurant, as her service was seamless and confident. The patio setting was beautiful, relaxed and perfect for a special afternoon. Our hotel in Sonoma recommended The Mill, and the 25-minute drive was well worth it. A sincere thank you to the chef/owner and the entire team for such a wonderful anniversary lunch. We can't wait to return!

Excellent food, excellent service. The family running this is so friendly and hard working. Alex is so nice and so proud, its refreshing to see how proud they all are of their restaurant. If you haven't gone here, you're making a mistake. We have missed this place so many years just because its in a bit of an awkward location, but we will now visit here every time we come.

Found this place on our way into Sonoma as a stop for lunch. Lovely setting and great friendly service. Our host and waiter was most gracious and quickly helped with suggestions. The wine and the lunch was fabulous. So much so that we booked a reservation for Saturday night dinner. Upon return we were greeted by our same host and we were quickly shown to a nice table. Again we took his suggestions and everything was perfect. Some of the best lamb chips I’ve ever had. He suggested a dessert and bragged about his Equatorial coffee. It was to die for, along with the rice pudding dessert. Such a pleasant experience, I hope you get to enjoy as much as we did. #stevensleavin

An excellent dining experience. Our first impressions were concerning since there was nobody else there beyond a family having pizza on the porch, but that quickly changed. Alex was an exceptional server, food was excellent, and the birthday boy in our party was made to feel particularly special. When the two gentlemen order the starter and their ladies did not, a complementary salad was provided for them. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting in Glen Ellen, perched above a lush hillside and flowing creek. Inside seating is cozy and inviting, and weather permitting, the outside deck is a lovely alternative. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented, the service is excellent and the entire staff is welcoming and friendly. One thing to consider, this is not a place to rush through your meal. Our lunch was 2 hours, giving us ample time to enjoy each of the 4 menu items we shared between three of us: Brussels Sprouts, Spicy Chicken Wings, Caesar Salad, and Butternut Squash Raviolis. YUM!!!

The Mill was recommended to us by a local and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed their bread (available as an app) at our waiter’s recommendation. All of the menu items we tried were delicious and very very filling (bread, crisp tofu app, clam chowder soup, and latska). Beyond the menu items quality, the service was above and beyond. We were given a choice of available tables, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Would recommend this stop if you’re in the Glen Ellen Area.

My wife and I went for the first time for lunch. We had the Patio high table seating which was absolutely beautiful view. Our server was Oz. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He suggested the heirloom tomato salad for an appetizer which was beautiful and delicious. I ordered the pepperoni pizza extra cheese, extra pepperoni, which did not disappoint. Delicious my wife had a Wagyu burger with fries she loved we will be back. Highly recommended. Perfect for our date day . :)
