Great tasting experience yesterday with Mike at Wellington. Very knowledgeable about his products, about wine, and about the differences in different parts of the property! Very fun experience for my wife and myself. The wine is awesome also!
Andreas and Maria hosted us. Andreas was very knowledgeable about the estate's wines and we felt very attended to. Maria was lovely and helpful and invited us to return often. The wines were very good and the tasting room was impressive. I have found the visit to be exceptional among the many we have enjoyed over the years. Well done!
We had a private tour of the winery with Mike and he was so enthusiastic and informative about the wine making process from beginning to end. He introduced us to Tom, the winemaker and vineyard manager, who was also very informative and friendly. The wines we tasted were excellent and to cap it off, through our hotel concierge, they set up the tasting menu to honor our 42 year wedding anniversary, a great touch!! We bought some wines to be sent home and look forward to sharing...
