Same taste of all their sweets, too much sugar content, no taste of honey, some sweets were too crispy to bite.

Just wanted to add a note that they have sugarless option and nut-free option! such thoughtfulness!

I've haven't tried a lot of baklava except for the seasonal ones at Costco so I was skeptical on trying other ones. I didn't like the Costco ones. But this place had so many different kinds in different shapes and flavors. I got the bird nest looking one because it looked so unique to me and it was not disappointing. I really like the texture and flavors of it. The shop is a good size and have other desserts other than baklava.

I got the 1 lb assorted, very fresh and crisp. Very tasty. It's been forever since I had fresh baklava (that wasn't burnt). If left to my own devices (and no spending limit), I would've tried everything and made myself sick. It's a large space and everything looked so tempting! There's also cakes, ice cream, and cookies. Service was great too, I asked to be given a good assortment when I could've picked, but there was too many choices for me to make. I was given a good spread and am happy with every piece I've tried so far. Bring cash though, there is a transaction fee for the card machine. Luckily I had $20 on me so I had a hard limit and didn't have to worry about it. Check them out!

I was in Pasadena for work this weekend and also visiting my sisters old neighborhood of Pasadena. We came here for desserts to take back home in San Diego.Service was friendly and great especially we walked in the door 15 minutes before closing. The place is clean and organized. No prices thou you get the items weighed. What's particular was that my dessert was not weighed, she gave a random number. We bought a large selection of baklavas:Rolled pistachio cigaretteRolled walnut baklava drenched in honeyAlmond with cardamom baklava swimming in honeyCheese rolled in chopped toasted pistachiosA bought a few more different shapes baklava all in different shapesThese make a great dessert for any occasion and wonderful gifts too.If you use your credit card, there is a fee. This was unfortunately not communicated. There is parking in the small shopping plaza.

I have been craving some baklava lately... not really sure why because I've never been too fond of baklava due to its extreme sweetness. However, I recently tasted some really good ones that are not too sweet. With that said, I was on my way to seek out a place that primarily makes baklava LOL.Baklava Factory was found! It has 3 locations; Glendale, Encino, and North Hollywood. Glendale is closest to me so here I am. Very cute shop with a good variety of baklava to choose from. It also has other pastries, cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc. Staff was friendly and kind to answer my questions. Thank you staff!I knew exactly the 3 types of baklava I wanted to buy... birdsnest walnut, birdsnest pistachio, and kataifi rolls with almonds (these 3 are delicious and not heavily sweet!). I got 12 of each. For the rest of the tray, per recommendation from the staff (thank you!), I also got 10 fingers with cashew and 10 sari-burma walnut (these are tasty, too! thanks staff for the sample!). All the baklava filled the tray nicely... it was a perfect fit. They charge $16 per lb of baklava or you may buy them by the pieces. If you're going to get more than a handful, I would recommend you buy by the lb for better value. It was about 5+ lbs which came out to be $87. I ended up paying a few more dollars because I didn't have cash on me so I had to fork out 3.99% more for the credit/debit card service charge. Yes, you read right, 3.99% more! It's all good... I wanted to leave the shop with my baklava LOL. Now if you don't want to pay extra for credit/debit card service charge, do bring CASH!The tray was packaged beautifully. I was very pleased. You don't necessarily need to call ahead to pre-order... just show up and choose your baklava. However, if you have a huge order, then I would recommend you call ahead to pre-order. They also have baklava that are already pre-packed for purchase. I prefer to choose my own since I know what I like. I haven't opened the tray of baklava yet. I intend to bring it to work and share with my team members. Oh, by the way, leave the baklava out in room temperature and it should be good for about 10 days or so, but no more than 2 weeks though (that's what I was informed). DO NOT refrigerate it! You want the crispy flakes to remain fresh and crispy. Otherwise, it may get soft and soggy. Happy Baklava'ing!

I am Mexican, I found out about this type of dessert from a recipe on the Internet, I decided to look for where they were sold, what I told you would be short, you have to go and try the wide variety of Baklava they have, extremely delicious, congratulations for such a Nice place and the flavor of 10, the employee explains what each dessert contains, thank you.

Baklava Factory is like Heaven or Paradise if you're a big Baklava fan like me. Many different types and flavors where you can buy pre-packed or pick and choose your own and buy by the pound.I'm more of a fan to the traditional Baklava of pistachios, honey, and layers of flaky filo pastry. For you adventurous types, they have chocolate, walnuts, rose hip, etc....Tight spaces in the parking lot while the factory, more like a bakery, will get busy near Easter and Christmas.

I've had this bakery saved on my places to go for awhile now and finally got the chance to get some yummy treats here! I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. Parking area is limited so be mindful of that. The staff here were so helpful. I asked for their recommendations and everything I got was delicious. You can purchase by weight and my treats cost about $20. They also offer some prepackaged treats already if you want that option. They also sell ice cream which I'll need to try the next time I visit. Here's what I got - Walnut baklava Fingers baklava with cashew Kataifi pistachio Marble baklava pistachio Mini rose baklava Sare burma walnut These were all sweet and sugary! Highly recommended.

Best baklava around! My husband and I often go to Glendale to visit the Americana. One day I was craving baklava and found this place on Yelp. There are so MANY options, all made fresh daily. From cashews, to pistachio, to pecans, there's surely something for everyone. I couldn't choose so went for the variety box. The right amount of sweet and flavor. Highly recommend!
