I have only been there for drinks. The atmosphere was very chill. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Very nice waiter Nick. Big menu and lots of choices. Nice pub and lots of drinks. My mom and I got two dinners. I got a pot roast sandwich on a French roll a jus with horseradish aoili. I also got garlic fries. Ot was delicious but so large I coul only eat about a third of it. I brought the rest home and am going to enjoy it tomorrow. Mom got the tomato bisque soup with sweet potato fries and enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and for 21 and older. Several TVs playing the Dodgera and a few showing the news. Too full for dessert but they looked delicious. We will be back!

The whiskey selection is nothing short of impressive—whether you're a connoisseur or just starting your journey, there's something for every palate.
But what really took me by surprise was the food. It’s not just bar bites—this is elevated comfort food with real culinary chops. The sliders were melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the fish and chips were addictively good.
Now let’s talk about the service, because it deserves its own spotlight. The servers were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being pushy. Everyone made us feel welcome and unrushed, which is rare these days.
the bartenders know their craft. Not only did they recommend a perfect flight based on my preferences, but they also mixed up one of their signature cocktails that was easily one of the best drinks I’ve had. His passion and personality elevated the whole experience.
If you’re over 21 and appreciate good whiskey, great food, and genuinely top-tier service, this bar is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back.

Great long bar and numerous booths. The staff is super chill and on top of the service. Music isn't too loud. There is outdoor seating as well.

Great spot , Inside and outside seating. We got the burger, fried chicken, and pot roast. Overall, food could have been better, The quality was good, but it was lacking flavor. Garlic fries was the best, the chips was also delicious. Put roast could have used salt and some spices. Total was 85$. 3 dish 2 soft drink and a beer. About 30$ a person , normal for today prices I guess.

Very disappointed. Had high hopes for this place especially since it's in walking distance from my house. I'm sure other people have had "good" experiences but I can only attest to mine. Try Thee Elbow Room or Town Kitchen and Grill if you want decent service and good food.

Basin 141 is a nice, comfortable bar in downtown Montrose. The atmosphere is chill and the food menu and drink menu are quite nice with many options. We had cocktails and draft craft beers which were really good and the hamburger was good, but not the best I have had. The service was outstanding and the staff was very attentive. I definitely would return and would recommend this bar.

Food is good. Drinks are good. Service not so much, despite being right in front of the bartender, my group and I were completely ignored even though we spoke up multiple times. The level of inattentiveness was astonishing. I felt Stevie Wonder has more vision here and Hellen Keller would at least heard us a mile away before the bartender. Lack of attention to detail, attention to time.
