Buko is a super authentic and fairly affordable Japanese restaurant, everything on the menu is good and the owner is friendly if he is there. They have a happy hour. They recently renovated and the new atmosphere is much nicer.

I visited this restaurant today, and I was really impressed! Under the new management, the manager, staff, and sushi chefs were all kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. The restaurant has been newly renovated -- it looks beautiful, clean, and very comfortable.
I went there to celebrate my birthday with my family, and it turned out to be an unforgettable afternoon filled with wonderful surprises. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail....

First time , PROS; tables were clean and not dirty or sticky. Service was friendly and very polite. My food came out HOT, as it should be! Huge points on that! Actually shocked! Questions were answered without being snarky or rude.
Cons: had to ask for napkins and chopsticks were not offered. If that is the worst of it, so what. I will be going back!
