Came here for a pick up order, the two people I. The front were GREAT. There was a girl in the back with fully done hair, curled bangs, curls by her ears, blue in her black at the back (maybe tips or streaks?)- she was absolutely glaring, did not want to be there for sure. She slammed the food so hard, it flew past the heat lamp. No idea what her problem is but no hair net & that attitude, not sure I trust the food now. 3:30pm Jan 20/26

I ordered delivery and the fish was cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce was the right amount. Squash was good. The white rice tasted like white rice.

This place has excellent food but ordering your food is a mess. You have to use a self service kiosk to order food and not all customers know how to use it. On my visit there were 2 people ordering food on the 2 kiosks that didn't know how to use them and the line of other customers didn't move for about 10 to 15 minutes. I wasn't planning on standing there for that long on my lunch break so not a good experience for me.

I had such a wonderful experience at this Fish Grill thanks to Melissa and Kiara!
As soon as I walked in, Melissa greeted me with such kindness and enthusiasm. She had a big smile on her face and helped me place my order at the kiosk, which made the whole process so easy. While I was eating, both Melissa and Kiara came by multiple times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Their friendliness and genuine care really stood out — you honestly don’t see service like this anymore, not even at many high-end restaurants.
I didn’t get a chance to tip them, but I wanted to leave this review to highlight how amazing they both were. I truly hope the manager sees this, because Melissa and Kiara went above and beyond to make my visit special.
Even though I don’t live in the area, I’ll definitely be coming back to this specific Fish Grill because of the incredible service they provided

Dear California Fish Grill Management,
I am writing to share my concerns about recent experiences at your restaurant. The kiosks for ordering are very difficult to use, especially for older customers, and your staff consistently refuse to take orders directly, which is frustrating.
Additionally, I’ve observed patrons bringing dogs into the restaurant without enforcement of your service animal policy. I confronted an employee about this, and he said all dogs are allowed. Another staff member even pet the dog, raising hygiene concerns—I've uploaded a photo as proof. This practice is unsafe and uncomfortable for many guests.
I hope you will address these issues by improving staff training on service animal policies and offering easier ordering options. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to seeing positive changes. Food also in not consistent in taste.
