I’m signed up for the FiveStars app and got a 25% off coupon for the 4th of July. I didn’t want to miss the deal, so I went to the store and ordered a large bowl and a sushi set. I told the staff member I wanted to use my coupon, and she asked me to enter my phone number, which I did.
But I was still charged the full price. When I asked why, she said she thought I was just asking how to sign up. I never asked that—and I got points for the order, so it was clear I already had an account. When I explained that, she didn’t offer to fix it, adjust the price, or even apologize. There was no effort from her side to make it right.
I understand it was a busy day, and she might have had a lot on her mind. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before, so I know how overwhelming it can get. But still, I don’t think I should have been left feeling guilty or upset—I didn’t do anything wrong. Sadly, that’s exactly how I felt after visiting the store. I didn’t even feel like enjoying the meal afterward

Had a great experience at California Poke House!
Service was great, and I opted for the Large Bowl (about $23-24 after tax / tip), which included 5 scoops of protein. I went with 3 scoops salmon, 1 scoop unagi, 1 scoop tuna, and portions were reasonable. They also had tofu for vegetarians, but it was clearly straight from the brick and therefore not very appetizing.
Plenty of delicious toppings. Loved the fresh jalapenos, bamboo shoots, seaweed salad, pickled ginger, radish, imitation crab, roe, and edamame. Also appreciated the variety of sauces - I went with wasabi soy sauce and sriracha aioli. Avocado was $1.50 extra and didn't look too fresh, so I skipped it.
All in all, a great bowl with decent value. Would come back!

Ordered delivery: A “large” bowl and one regular bowl. Both bowls came in the same container and the “regular” order actually had slightly more food in it.
The only difference is that the “large” came with 5 scoops of protein and the regular came with 3.
But you couldn’t tell which was which besides the ingredients, the 5 scoops seemed to somehow be equal to less than the 3 scoops, and via Postmates we were forced to select 3/5 different proteins even if we didn’t want them.
Overall the “large” just wasn’t worth the extra 4+ bucks, it didn’t equate to more food and therefore had no point, misleading descriptions as far as I’m concerned. Won’t be trying this place again.

Was not up to cooking tn for several reasons we don't need to get into. Took a chance on California Poke House and ordered their fish and chips. I wasn't sure what I was in for. But they were tastey, reasonably priced, and the portions were good. FYI I added all that mayo on the fries in the picture. Couldn't wait had to dig in.
Pleasantly surprised and likely to order again. Although I want to try their poke, its hard to find good Fish and Chips… so I will probably re-order what I got because I liked it so much.
They were some of the better Fish and Chips I’ve had.

This clean, little, out of the way place is great. The chicken Katsu was crispy and juicy. However, the serving size for the price was a bit small. The orange chicken was a sweet and tangy experience that I would love to try again. The staff was kind, but in rush to take the order, we barely said what we wanted and didn't say our appetizer and the staff member had already left to start. At the time we went to the restaurant, it was empty. Overall, this place is a good choice. It's just a bit overpriced, but the actual restaurant is clean and looks great. Staff is nice but eager to get orders out.

and… . There is a poke like this in LA... . It's so delicious haha. The small size comes with 2 scoops, but they fill it up so I'm so full haha. The staff is friendly and they like Korean people. Totally recommended!!

Staff is always so kind, friendly, & attentive. Lorenzo was so delightful. He took extra care to make my bowl today. The seafood is always very fresh. I particularly love the flavor of their white rice as well. I've had some experiences with other poke bowls where the seafood or condiments are near or are spoiled. Never happened here at Cali Poke. Also, their other fun dish is the salmon , tuna, & avocado roll. Great place! ?
