My husband and I ordered 2 bowls from here, our first time since it was late and our local "all about poke" was closing. We got regular size and small. Let me start off by saying, they fill up the bowl with 85% rice. I'm not exaggerating. The rice was prepared al dente. It didn't taste like sushi rice. The grains also appeared longer. My small bowl contained 4 chunks of salmon and a small scoop of spicy tuna. My husband's had 4 pieces of tuna 4 pieces of salmon. Their wasabi, ginger and soy sauce are also the cheapest quality available at restaurant depot. Poke is a Hawaiian dish with roots of Japanese cuisine- perhaps the owner is not familiar with the culture to know that protein in these cultures is appreciated more versus the rice.

Small spot that you'd pass everyday without knowing it's there. Decided to try it for lunch one day after walking by and I'm very thankful that I did. Upon entry you are greeted by a clean space with few tables and nice individuals at the front. There are lots of toppings to choose from and a great selection of different fish. After creating my bowl with the help of the worker, I took it to go to eat back at the office. The fish quality is one of the freshest I've had in the area and the pricing is very comparable to others you find within Glendale. Won't bat an eye next time I am in the mood for a good poke bowl!

It's the worst poke bowl a have ever ate; I can not even to finish it. I don't recommend to try it.

So, I rolled into California Poke House craving something fresh in the hood and boy, did it deliver! This spot in the heart of Glendale is straight-up chill, decking out the place with surfboard tables that make you feel like you've hit the beach. Food & Service That Slaps Talk about quick service without cutting corners on freshness - these folks got it down. The menu's loaded with all sorts of toppings, letting you mix and match till you strike gold. My bowl wasn't just food; it was a flavor bomb that had my taste buds surfing waves. The staff? On point. Fast and attentive, making the whole vibe even more legit. Bang for Your Buck Yeah, their bowls might hit your wallet a bit harder, but trust me, you get what you pay for. Generous with the protein and toppings, they make sure you walk away stuffed and stoked. It's a rare find where quality and quantity go hand in hand like this. Vibe Check & Parking Drama The vibe inside is all about kicking back and savoring the moment, a perfect escape. Now, parking around here can be a bit of a maze, but that's not on them. Won't dock them stars for that hustle. Wrap-Up California Poke House blew my expectations out of the water, serving up more than just a lunch break. It's a spot where anyone can find something they dig, whether you're in a rush or looking to chill with your crew. More than a restaurant, this place feels like a joint with soul, caring for every guest that walks in. Count on seeing me back there, no doubt.

The salmon poke had excellent portions and this has become my poke go to around the area! Good choices of sauces too :) Also their macaroon ice creams were better than I expected, I got the vanilla!

We are big fans of sushi and poke, and as we were in LA, we challenged ourselves to find a poke place that was better (if possible) than our favorite in NorCal. California Poke House paid out our quest.Their poke is superb (from the protein options, to toppings, to the sauce...) and their service is also great! Our new favorite place in LA area!

The young lady who served me today (12/30/23) didn't get her name but she was so kind and thorough it really made my experience great and the food and ambiance was great as well. Decently priced

Just ordered a poke bowl from here from Postmates. It was so mediocre that I didn't even try to finish it. The fish tasted bland, or wrong, like it wasn't fresh if that makes sense. They hardly give you any edamame or other toppings except jalapenos. The jalapeños were not even spicy, which was crazy because they give you full slices with the seeds. I asked for some sauce on the side and they didn't give me any. Just skip this place

Came in there to exchange a dollar for quarters for the parking meter and they told me I had to buy something therefore I did and then afterwords they told me it had to be with cash to buy something. Lady was a bit rude about the exchange for quarters too. I work in customer service has well and to be rude for someone for no reason is unacceptable.

Wonderful service from Ren today! She was so patient and friendly today and delivered great customer service. I was ordering multiple bowls and she did a great job and stayed so patient and sweet the entire interaction. Ren is the reason I will gladly return to this poke spot!
