TL;DR BBQ Pork Buns are 5 stars. Every other dish I've had is 3 stars.
I've had 4 dishes from here: Chop Suey, Kung Pao Chicken, Snow Peas and Water Chestnut, and BBQ Pork Buns (Dim Sum)
To be honest, I can only recommend the BBQ Pork Buns, but I recommend it highly. It is the best dim sum pork bun you are going to get in Glendale. The filling has a lot of flavor and isn't too dry, and the bun is very soft and fluffy.
The other dishes were okay. I don't expect them to be authentic, but across the board, they generally just lack flavor, which puts them below other Chinese restaurants in Glendale for me.
It is really great that they have a couple dishes with water chestnut though. So for this fact, and the quality of the BBQ Pork Buns alone, I'm giving them 4 stars.
I would like to go back and try a few more dishes. Hopefully my review improves

California Wok: A Disappointing Chinese Experience I was eager to satisfy my Chinese food craving, but unfortunately, California Wok fell short. The orange chicken was a complete letdown. It tasted as if it had been sitting in the freezer for far too long. The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the sauce lacked the tangy sweetness I expected. The beef chow mein was equally disappointing. The meat had an unpleasant, almost spoiled taste that ruined the dish. The egg rolls were also a miss, with a soggy center despite the crispy exterior. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying Chinese meal.

We used to take out from the former restaurant (Sing Woo Kitchen) at this location. After trying the new California Wok last night, we all agreed that it was some of the best Chinese food that we've ever eaten. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great new Hong Kong style Chinese food in Glendale! Loved the old restaurant's authentic Chinese offerings but this new one is even better. Young guys running it, decorated super nice, real Hong Kong fresh made dishes. A new hidden treasure. Killer seafood chow fun.
