A friend recommended this place, so we were excited to try it. The ambiance was pleasant, despite facing a busy street, and the service was (nearly) great. Unfortunately, there were a few issues: The muffin for my Eggs Benedict was untoasted, and the hash, which came extra crisp as requested (great), was almost cold. Most disappointing, however, was that my wife couldn't eat her Avocado Toast. We expected a bit of spice from the radish, but it was overwhelmingly hot. When the table was cleared, a staff member (not our server) asked if everything was okay. We explained the issues, but she simply left and brought us the check. It’s unfortunate because this place seemed promising - and we live in the immediate neighborhood. However, given our experience, we’re unlikely to return let alone recommend.
It's a nice owner owned cafe/restaurant with a nice ambiance. We were there for Sunday morning breakfast. From the beginning, staff and swerver were very attentive. We really enjoyed the decor and food. Food was delicious and also very nicely presented. Our server was attentive and brought us freshly brewed batch of coffee for refills. They had a live saxophonist playing a mellow jazz music for brunch hours. Looking forward to returning and trying their lunch and dinner too.
Politely elegant service ... Great place for Hooka ... good food .... pleasant atmosphere ... NEW INTERIOR for cool gatherings with friends ... not the right place if you are frugal ...

My experience at The Corner this week was frustrating. Opting for a quick bite, I requested tap water, only to be forced into ordering a $6 bottled water without being offered an alternative. To add insult to injury, an unexplained $5.31 service fee (separate from gratuity) appeared on the bill, defended by the waitress as a restaurant policy. For a spot serving basic diner fare, these unnecessary charges are beyond irritating.Combined with the forgettable food and a downscale atmosphere, these unnecessary expenses guarantee that I won't be returning.

So happy to see this place reopen! We were driving by and saw it, and stopped in. Although the menu was great and everything sounded delicious, we opted for an appetizer only dinner and went with wings, the wagyu sliders and the avocado rolls. All three were fantastic! The staff was very friendly and the new decor was impeccable. Can't wait to return soon to check out what breakfast has to offer.

This morning I ordered eggs Benedict with lox and fruit. The eggs were excellently prepared as was the sauce with spinach. The lox were saltier than most lox I have eaten but that isn't the restaurants fault. The pieces of mango weren't quite ripe but the rest of the fruit was fine. Overall the breakfast was very good.I also just read the review of a customer complaining about Covid precautions not adhered to by this business. I didn't see anything that could be construed as a violation of mandates. A sign adhered to the door clearly asks patrons to wear a mask when entering. If you are so afraid of acquiring Covid then don't eat at ANY restaurant and prepare your meals at home.
We had a power breakfast (steak and eggs) while watching the World Cup soccer games with excellent live jazz music. After a tremendous meal we went outside to watch the NFL while smoking hookah.Tremendous place. Peaceful.
Best Carbonara we've tasted in Los Angeles. Homey. Accessible. Quiet. Family like attention. Loved it.

Very friendly people, and fast service.
My favorite place for breakfast. And I have eaten at a lot of places in the area. The relaxing music sets them apart.
Unexpected gem!We came here because most other brunch places had a 45-1hr wait for 2 people. This place is fantastic! Low-key, simple diner. The food was fresh & tasted amazing. The service was wonderful & on point. We started with a caprese salad & coffee. I had the Salmon Benedict & she had the Super French Toast. We will definitely be back.
I love this place. Food delicious. The waiters super nice!! I recommend this restaurant. The environment super. You feel peace!
2 hot black teas, a bottle of water, 1 plate of hummus, and 1 hookah: $61 + tip. I didn't notice the 18% service fee they added for two people before tip until after I left the register. Service and food was good, but felt needlessly fleeced. I would have been back that night with friends but ate late dinner with friends elsewhere.
