We had a reservation for a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 kid (5 and 3 yrs old) settings and one high chair. I forgot her name but she was super patient and was so nice(thank you!). Our toddler dropped his plastic spoon twice and she kindly got a new one for him. This made our lunch that much better.Kid-friendliness: Kid suction plate with plastic utensils

The first time I ventured into this establishment was in 2022, just the day after Thanksgiving. Naturally, the wait was lengthy, but it was to be expected!Fast forward to my most recent visit this past weekend. Not only have they relocated, but the new spot is grander and more splendid! The service remains consistently excellent. The staff members are always affable, efficient, and attentive. I find joy in their creative explanations of the sauces, even though I already know how to make the sauce. It's those little touches that make the experience delightful, haha!As mentioned earlier, the new venue boasts ample space, including an inviting outdoor area. Unfortunately, I couldn't explore the outdoor section due to the rain and my attire, but it seemed to be a hit with other patrons who were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Now, onto the culinary delights we indulged in:- Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao- Chicken Xiao Long Bao- Kurobuta Pork Buns- Chicken Spicy Wontons- Chicken Wonton Soup- String Beans with Garlic- Taiwanese Hot TeaGiven my dietary restrictions, I can only vouch for the non-pork items. The Xiao Long Bao, their signature dish, lived up to its reputation. Be cautious as they arrive piping hot, but oh-so-satisfying, bursting with flavor with each bite. Whether you prefer sipping the savory broth or letting it burst in your mouth, it's an explosion of taste. The Chicken Spicy Wontons pack a punch but are undeniably worth it! The accompanying sauce adds an extra kick, which I couldn't resist drizzling over my dumplings and soup alike. Speaking of soup, the Wonton Soup here is exceptional, particularly on a chilly, rainy day—it truly warmed my soul! And let's not forget about the String Beans—absolutely divine! I couldn't resist devouring them; they were cooked to perfection. As for the hot tea, a word of caution—it's scalding hot, so allow it to cool for a moment; I certainly wasn't prepared for its temperature.Leaving the premises, I was thoroughly satisfied, feeling akin to a happy Buddha with my food baby, haha!

Dropped by at this location. Ordered the pork and then the crab dumplings. They were okay. The pork chop fried rice was okay too. The service was above average.
Food was remarkable, customer service was great, and conveniently located in the Glendale Galleria.

Bad customer service, my family and I reserved for 5 with 2 small kids, went to the reception lady and said its ready, 4 in my family was already here and after 30secs they said the table was not available anymore. Its the weekdays and not even a weekend. No consideration for family w/ small kids.

Update: They move to the Galleria mall. I like this location more. Parking is much easier in Garage A. Same great food and service. Still need to be patient since they do get crowded.I have been to many Din Tai Fung. This place is always consistent with service and food. Of course, the wait can be long. The XLB is a must try. Of course, other dishes are very good too. Besides, XLB, I always get the spicy wonton and the beef noodle soup. For dessert, chocolate mochi dumpling is the best. Will be back when I visit Glendale.
