Do not order the gizzards or the liver combo box. Not only was it flavorless, but I'm not even sure if there was a gizzard in the box. Only fried crumbles of batter and grease and nothing that even resembled a gizzard. As for the liver, I got 2 lumps, and that's all. The gizzard and liver box were very disappointing, but the mac and cheese and potato salad sides were good, and the hostess was nice and friendly.

The food at this place is good but you need to be careful with the two Hispanic girls in the front I ordered a family meal that was $56 I upgraded the macaroni and mashed potatoes and it went up to $87 you need to be careful and look at the receipt they did not give me mine I feel like I got taken advantage of

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before...but it is one of my favorite fried chicken places in LA. The fried chicken is absolutely in my top 5. The chicken is the star here--forget about everything else except maybe the gizzards--the chicken is why you come to Dinah's. Having said that prices have really increased here like a lot of other places these days. In four short years, the two piece lunch has gone from $7.65 to $13.60. I don't know about you but that seems a lot higher than the current inflation rate. Not picking on Dinah's, but just making a point.

I have so many good things to say about Dinah's. First, the food is amazing. The chicken and fries are a standout, but the surprising side for me was the stuffing with cranberry sauce. I loved it and I was not expecting that. The other sides are great, too. But don't sleep on the stuffing. Then, the staff. The owner is my hero. I was having an issue placing a large order through DoorDash and the owner stepped in the day of my party and took the order directly. I was so stressed until the owner saved the day. The food was on time, hot, and tasted delicious for our party. And several people at the party wanted to know where the food was from because they enjoyed the food so much. I had the best experience ordering from Dinah's and needed to share.

The chicken tasted EXACTLY like fish. Special instructions were ignored to have the gravy on the side. Entire meal was terrible. Called and staff was completely unhelpful. Woman who answered the phone said she could see no special instructionson my order. I have no option to believe that she was lying as the are clearly in the email confirmation of the order.

My husband and I came here for lunch with our son. We were driving around looking for something to eat, and found this place with good reviews and the pictures of the food looked great! I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I LOVE fried chicken so I'm always looking for a new spot that beats the last and this place looked promising. The staff was friendly and quick with service which is the only reason for 3 stars. The food itself was just not great. My chicken was fried great, perfectly crunchy but I did not like the flavor. The fries also had an interesting flavor to it, I couldn't finish either. I got my son the Mac and cheese and... well... I've had a lot of great southern Mac and cheese, this didn't make the list. My husband's chicken was not cooked all the way through so I ended up giving him mine. He didn't mind the flavor so it worked out but overall, very disappointing.

I hadn't been to Dinahs in a while but decided to grab dinner from here the other night. It just happened to be their 57th anniversary - which they were celebrating by giving away free breakfast, which I didn't even know the served there. Congratulations to them! But I digress.... the family dinner I ordered was so good. Comes with 10 pcs chicken, 2 sides, and rolls. All of it was fresh, hot, and tasty. Best fried chicken around perfect coating. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I took it to go so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The lobby looks cool.. a little old fashioned, but I expect that from an almost 60 year old place...vintage-y . Just go. It's a staple for fried chicken, which i dont have all the , also I Don't live with regrets and this is worth it!

The chicken is seasoned perfectly and it's crispy on the outside and deliciously moist on the inside. The pineapple coleslaw, sounds a little strange, but it is fantastic and one of the best sellers. The waffles are also incredible. April 4th is their 57th year in business. You can dine inside or outside. The staff is friendly and the owner is very hands-on and super nice.Parking: This is located in a strip center and I have typically been able to find parking. The bonds parking lot is right next door and there's plenty of parking there as well.

Ordered food for pickup through their website. The meal that cost me 51.00 on the supposedly "free" Doordash pickup was only 42.50 if I had purchased in the store.And I still had to wait over 10 minutes to get my order when I arrived.Parking: Tiny parking lot with tight spaces.

Man oh Man! I have been sleeping on this one right here. A legend. Forget pictures of famous people on the walls. Dinah's Chicken in Glendale is Great!!! Super Chill with an Old School Vibe. Really Great Service, fast and friendly. And the Chow... soooo good. Picture perfect. Great flavor. I highly suggest coming and experiencing this really cool spot with great food and service. I am definitely coming back.

Service was very bad I don't understand why people who work in places like this aren't happy. Do you know what you signed up for? so if you don't like where you work at is better for you to quit because the waitresses attitude is very disgusting. You can tell she didn't want to help us or every time we asked for something she seemed annoyed. To top it off the prices are outrageous when dining in doesn't make sense how dining in and take out are two different prices. I recommend people don't dine in because it is a rip off. If it was up to me, I'd give you zero stars now going back 2 to 3 years ago. Everything was great service was excellent. Food was delicious things have changed and I think it's time to change your workers.
