No liquor, no patronage from me. This place could have major local potential, but it has to escape the shoddy reputation of the various incarnations (a latino bar that bordered on flophouse with women of the night for sale, most recently) along with getting a permit for selling cocktails. The DJ lineups are excellent--great live music would really help...but none of that can be enjoyed if you are not a beer drinker. Revamp this place a bit and I would probably have a stool with my name on it.

Free pool, comedy nights, decent beer, close to my house, live music, chill place, cozy. These are the good things about this place! I could come here on a Monday night and they will be open and zero people will be here so I can have a beer alone or with a friend. VERY hidden gem. They don't have food unfortunately but there's a taco stand up the street open till like 3-4am. They have snacks and beer though. The live music nights are the best! It can be super dead sometimes here so just go on a Friday, Saturday or Thursday night! Or every other Monday they have pool tournaments! Look at their schedule for event days! :) attached is the menu and pics of the place!

I somehow turned up here and happened to be Pride night. Seems like the patrons are all related/friends with the bartenders. I wouldn't go back.

My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and one of the biggest selling points was the FREE POOL. They also have a few tv's with sports on and prices on draft beer aren't bad, about $5-6 for some local drafts. The space is tiny, but larger than Pacific Plate next door. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to drink a few beers and play pool.
