definitely still the reigning champs of the breakfast sandwich world! This right here is the Fairfax with no caramelized onions and I added arugula, turkey sausage, and bacon; also has their beautifully soft scrambled eggs with a slice of melted cheddar cheese and spicy mayo on a warm brioche bun! The eggs are super fluffy paired with that thick cut bacon and a turkey sausage that's never overcooked! These pairings work so well together, it's unbelievable how great of a sandwich this is! Also got an order of the truffle hash browns! Last time I was here they didn't have hash browns and it pissed me off cause they're be perfect. As I thought PERFECT and what puts them over the top is the truffle grab some with your sandwich and you'll see exactly what I mean! Cool kinda hipster place where you can have breakfast and do school work or work work on your laptop. Service was great per usual, for the girls name at the register but she was great!

I've been wanting to try Egg Slut for years and got the chance today while on vacation. The Glendale location was 5 minutes from the hotel I was staying at so we decided to head there for breakfast on Sunday morning. Parking was easy in the back of the building but there is a fee. I think it was $1.75 for 30 minutes. The building is on the smaller side so if it's busy it may be hard to eat there. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese and my husband had the double burger and hash browns. I knew there would be an over easy egg on the sandwich but I forgot to ask for the soft scramble (my fault) so when I bit into the sandwich, all the yolk squirted out. The sausage was under seasoned but the brioche was fantastic. You can't go wrong with a soft pillowy bread. The hash browns were really good - I like the herbs that were in it. My husband really enjoyed his burger. I know others have said the price is high for an egg sandwich but it's a pretty hefty sized sandwich so it was worth the price to me. It was just OK to me. My rating would be a 4 if it wasn't for the under seasoned sausage.

This has been on my list for quite some time, but since I don't hear any buzz about it I just put it on the back burner. I now understand why there is no buzz. This place is not bad... but it's not great either, I feel like I could have had a better breakfast at home. The sandwich lacked flavor and the proportions were off (very bun heavy), but it was ok. The slut was ok, but again proportions were off, a lot more potato to egg. The potato/egg combo was a little odd, it looked appealing but I definitely wouldn't do it again. The best part of the meal were the little hash-browns, perfect size and perfect crisp. Overall, I was underwhelmed and don't plan on visiting Eggslut again.

Eggscellent Adventure at Eggslut - A Balanced Take Finally got to check out Eggslut in Glendale, and oh boy, was it an egg-citing experience! On a quest for the perfect breakfast sandwich, I ordered the Fairfax sandwich along with truffle hash browns. Here's the sunny side up and the slightly scrambled parts of my visit: The Sunny Side Up: Fairfax Sandwich: This isn't just any sandwich; it's a fluffy, flavorful cloud nestled in a perfectly warmed brioche bun. The eggs were so creamy, it felt like they were whipped by angels, complemented by the subtle heat of sriracha mayo and the richness of caramelized onions and cheddar cheese. Definitely not your average scrambled egg fare. Truffle Hash Browns: The truffle isn't just a fancy word they throw around; you can genuinely taste it mingling with the crispy hash browns, seasoned to perfection. Even as someone who's not a truffle fanatic, I found the balance of flavors here surprisingly delightful. Atmosphere: Clean, modern with a laid-back vibe. Exactly what you want from a place specializing in elevating breakfast classics. A Bit Scrambled: ‍ Saltiness: Both the Fairfax and the truffle hash browns leaned on the salty side for my palate. It's a minor quibble but something for those who prefer a less seasoned dish to consider. ‍ Sauce Situation: Noticed a lack of sauce options. While the sandwich itself didn't necessarily need it, having the option for ketchup or mayo, especially for the hash browns, would be nice for those who love their condiments. ‍ Seating & Service: The line moved quickly (a plus!), but the indoor seating filled up just as fast, leading me to enjoy my meal alfresco. Not a deal-breaker but worth noting for those planning a visit. Logistics: When: My visit was on a sunny Saturday, April 6th, adding to the overall cheerful experience. Parking: Opted for the convenience of paid parking right near the entrance. Easy peasy. Wrap-Up: Eggslut in Glendale serves up some seriously good eats with a side of charm. While there are a couple of areas for improvement, the quality of the food shines bright. The Fairfax sandwich alone is worth the trip, making scrambled eggs the star of the show. Whether you're an egg aficionado or just in it for some top-notch breakfast grub, Eggslut is a crackin' good choice. Can't wait to slide back for another round!

Service was amazing. We arrived around 11am it wasn't too busy. We got the bacon egg and cheese with truffle hash browns. The hash browns were the best I've ever had. Crispy and seasoned to perfection. The bacon to egg ratio was great paired the the fluffy brioche bun. I tried the spicy mayo on my hash browns and loved the combo.

It’s all true - hype is real. Get the Fairfax with bacon + truffle hashbrowns. Honestly probably the best breakfast sandwich I think I’ve ever had.

I went a long time ago and it was just alright to me (coming from NYC and the famous BECs). But I gave it another shot when I moved here and wow, it did not disappoint. The sandwich was very filling and the egg yolk was very, very orange. This is a good thing and speaks to the quality of the egg. The egg was also perfect insofar as the yolk structure was preserved when placed into the sandwich and melted over the sandwich upon biting. The truffled hash browns were also a highlight; it takes the McDonald's hash brown and turns it up to 11.There is an imitator restaurant in Berlin called "44 Brekkie" which, while cheaper and with EU-standard ingredients, is nowhere near as good. 44 Brekkie presents itself as more of a cafe, but the sum of its parts is still not as good as Eggslut. My only issue with Eggslut is that the food is quite expensive and therefore not good for a daily occurrence.Vegetarian options: It's very easy to turn any dish here into a vegetarian one. Vegan is probably much harder considering their usage of butter and heavy slant on eggs.

I have been wanting to come here for a while now and it did not disappoint. I got the truffle hash browns and the sausage egg sandwich. The runny egg made it a little messy but otherwise super good. The bread was soft and perfect. The hash browns were really good also. The food was hot and tasted fresh. The service was good and helpful at helping me decide.

I really enjoyed Eggslut. My brothers and I are dreaming of having it again. We had the egg sandwich with bacon 10/10 such good flavor. The truffle fries were so good. And then we had the egg and cheeseburger with bacon and that was 12/10. Can't wait to go back very soon!

This is our favorite breakfast spot. They have the yummiest egg sandwiches, and truffle hash browns are amazing! Fast and amazing service all the time.

Truly truly disappointed. I had a very productive day and I've been craving Eggslut this whole month. We found a hair in our egg bacon cheese sandwich. (Gross!) I'll think twice to come in again. Like I said so disappointed.

The person taking our order was super high energy, very friendly, and used a lot of humor to engage us. This is my first time here and we got a bacon and egg sandwich, the most popular sandwich, and the hash browns. This was overall an excellent experience, though I love eggs! The hash browns were tasty, the sandwiches were well balanced, and the eggs were cook perfectly, as I think they should be at a place that focuses on eggs as their primary product. I would definitely come here again for breakfast or lunch.
