The shawarma I ordered had hair also
was distasteful and I wasn’t brought any plates and water and was sitting there with no service for half an hour and someone finally came up. I think the service was very poor and the atmosphere was dead and very hot inside even tho the fans were on. Overall will give this place a 1 star.

A charming neighborhood restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, offering quick and efficient service. The food is high-quality and generously portioned at reasonable prices. Convenient parking is available across the street in the church parking lot."

Dependable as always. Been many times and I drive from the south OC. Crazy drive and worth every penny. I see people at the place across the street and just ask myself - WHY?

We are exploring new places for simple date nights near our new home - found the terrific Elena's last week. Food was really well prepared (even leftovers were delicious, repurchased in soft tortillas). The beef kabobs, filet mignon, were amazing - and fries were a nice alternative to rice. Lamb kabobs were also good, with nice rice. The appetizer/spreads combo was great - excellent tabbouleh and baba ghanouj. I would have loved a little more "Greek", like egg lemon soup, etc but oh, well. Service was attentive, atmosphere a little bright for us, but ok. Pricing was very fair - we did not drink but our tab was well under $75, which is a gift these days! Easy to see how they have flourished for 50 years ... we'll be back!

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. They sat us down with two glasses of ice (?) and let us sit in the sun for 25 minutes. They brought bread and water for everyone else that sat down after us. I don’t know if they didn’t like us or are just really bad at this, but I won’t be back either way.

Great kabobs with tons of flavor and amazing texture, their humus is also a must try! If you’re in the area, definitely give them a try, they’re one of the best kabob spots in the heart of Glendale.

Came here with my wife and they had changed management but kept the same recipe. New owner was very nice and we will still be returning after 10 years going wife 20 years plus.

Definitely nothing special, I don't get the rave reviews. The meat was dry and tough, the sides were mediocre at best.

The place needs a deep cleaning, and the quality of the food overall is below average at best.

Without going into detail ??

Hard pass!

This was delicious. Those Armenian French fry potato wedges were so good. That pita bread is heavenly and lite. Can't wait to try the hummus.
