Very disappointing experience!
We arrived with high expectations after making a reservation for 11 people to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Before coming, we even called to confirm there would be live music, and they assured us there would be. Unfortunately, only after we placed our order did they tell us the singer wouldn’t be coming due to some “emergency.”

On top of that, we ordered two plates of greens, but they brought only one, saying they had already run out — this was around 7 PM even though the restaurant opens at 6. Very unprofessional and ridiculous for a place that had just opened for the evening.

This felt completely dishonest — clearly, they preferred to lie just to get our business rather than be upfront. Because of this, 11 of us spent the entire evening in silence, and what should have been a joyful celebration was ruined. Lying to earn money and failing to deliver on basic orders is never a good approach for any restaurant, and we will definitely not be coming back.

With an epic name and storefront I was really curious about interior design, which sent me back 100+ years ago, felt like something from a time piece movie. The food was absolutely delicious. It's a gourmet twist on all armenian favorite foods, and they pulled it off. Stunning presentation of the plate, attention to detail, prepared to perfection. If anyone is interested to have a lovely romantic night out for armenian food, you will certainly impress your date. They can accommodate a large group. Live music with piano, band, and singer, tonight was soft jazz.
I'm very impressed by staff. Cutlery and plates were renewed with every course.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Epique restaurant (dined there about 2yr ago), and I must say, the transformation from French cuisine to Armenian cuisine was truly spectacular. The new menu is a delightful explosion of flavors, showcasing the rich heritage and vibrant spices of Armenian cooking. Each dish (tjvjik, kyofta, bistrogonof, pear and beats salad, and more)was thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully (must have tjvjik- really beautifuly presented), making the dining experience both satisfying and memorable.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable about the new menu, ensuring every need was met with a smile. This restaurant has truly elevated its culinary artistry, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and delicious dining experience. And, I must say for all the things we ordered it was Very affordable and not another ripoff.

Kudos to the entire team for this incredible transformation — it’s clear they are passionate about providing outstanding cuisine and service. Can’t wait to visit again and explore more of their Armenian delights!

We wanted to experience Armenia food, and this was a lovely experience. The appetizers were amazing (although we ate them too fast for photos!). Halvea for dessert was a treat.

This is a fantastic spot for dinner! The food is absolutely delicious, with the fish being particularly outstanding. The Branzino was a true highlight—light, flavorful, and wonderfully prepared. The desserts are exceptional as well, offering unique flavors, a perfect balance of sweetness, and charming presentations. With options like chocolate and fruit, there's something to delight everyone's taste buds. The live entertainment added a special touch to the evening, making it a complete experience of dinner and a show.

We had an amazing time! Thank you, Epique, for the unforgettable atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment. Our corporate dinner was truly special, and the experience will stay with us for a long time. Highly recommended!

At the time When i was reserving I asked to be seated at the corner table by the entertainment. When arrived we were told that table is reserved already and we were seated in the middle of the other section of the restaurant where we couldnt even hear well or see the musicians/ singer! Singer came around 8:30, sang for about 20 minutes then took a break for half an hour, then sang for another 15 min and took another break...the waiters were very nice and attentive, but the hostess was rude and very unprofessional., Food was bland...I got the salmon which came with rice and veggies. Rice was just overcooked, watery and BLAND!!!!! As for the veghies there was only 2 pieces of green bell pepper mixed with the rice..Salmon was ok. Food and drinks OVERPRICED!!! NOT worth it at all!!! Tables are so close to each other, that in order to get up you need to ask the person who is sitting behind you to get up move his chair so you can get up..:.The only nice thing about this restaurant is the decor...

Additional to my previous review: this is not a scam, and I clearly explained my experience. I'm not sure which competition you are talking about, since this place ruined my event NEVER visit this place. And don't worry about the refund I already deal it with my bank. Had a very bad experience with the place. I will not go back again and will recommend everyone not to visit this place. New ownership/management doesn't have any clue about business and customer service. I don't even want to spend $1 at this place . I'll appreciate it if I get refund.

The limonade was really overpriced 15$ so it was a surprise for us especially when you took 2 of them... more than an appetizer

I recently dined at what used to be an amazing French restaurant, now rebranded as just another overpriced Armenian spot in a city already overflowing with them. The service was commendable, but sadly, the food fell flat.

We arrived with high expectations, having made dinner reservations in advance, completely unaware of the new management and menu. Our first course, a beet salad, was a letdown—only seven small pieces of beets surrounded by a mound of bitter arugula.

Next, we tried the prime rib steak, which the waitress failed to mention was simply steak on a skewer. It was dry and tasted overwhelmingly bloody, with zero seasoning. For our final dish, the lamb chops, I requested medium rare, but what arrived was overcooked to the point of being inedible.

If I had wanted Armenian food, I would have gone to Raffi's Kabob. I genuinely wish the new owners would change the name so unsuspecting customers wouldn't confuse it with the delightful experience it once offered. Overall, a disappointing evening that left me longing for the past.

Parking: There is free 90-minute parking across the street on Orange st.

Some of the dishes were really tasteful while others needed more flavor ( oyster mushrooms tarragon salad were a bit bland) portions were just the right size. Music was great will definitely be back.
