Not the appetizer not the food was good everything was horrible, cold , not cooked will never go back and don’t recommend anyone .
We wanted to experience Armenia food, and this was a lovely experience. The appetizers were amazing (although we ate them too fast for photos!). Halvea for dessert was a treat.
This is a fantastic spot for dinner! The food is absolutely delicious, with the fish being particularly outstanding. The Branzino was a true highlight—light, flavorful, and wonderfully prepared. The desserts are exceptional as well, offering unique flavors, a perfect balance of sweetness, and charming presentations. With options like chocolate and fruit, there's something to delight everyone's taste buds. The live entertainment added a special touch to the evening, making it a complete experience of dinner and a show.
We had an amazing time! Thank you, Epique, for the unforgettable atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment. Our corporate dinner was truly special, and the experience will stay with us for a long time. Highly recommended!
Very, very very BAD service . Emma was very rude. It was the first and last time I visited.
At the time When i was reserving I asked to be seated at the corner table by the entertainment. When arrived we were told that table is reserved already and we were seated in the middle of the other section of the restaurant where we couldnt even hear well or see the musicians/ singer! Singer came around 8:30, sang for about 20 minutes then took a break for half an hour, then sang for another 15 min and took another break...the waiters were very nice and attentive, but the hostess was rude and very unprofessional., Food was bland...I got the salmon which came with rice and veggies. Rice was just overcooked, watery and BLAND!!!!! As for the veghies there was only 2 pieces of green bell pepper mixed with the rice..Salmon was ok. Food and drinks OVERPRICED!!! NOT worth it at all!!! Tables are so close to each other, that in order to get up you need to ask the person who is sitting behind you to get up move his chair so you can get up..:.The only nice thing about this restaurant is the decor...
Additional to my previous review: this is not a scam, and I clearly explained my experience. I'm not sure which competition you are talking about, since this place ruined my event NEVER visit this place. And don't worry about the refund I already deal it with my bank. Had a very bad experience with the place. I will not go back again and will recommend everyone not to visit this place. New ownership/management doesn't have any clue about business and customer service. I don't even want to spend $1 at this place . I'll appreciate it if I get refund.
The limonade was really overpriced 15$ so it was a surprise for us especially when you took 2 of them... more than an appetizer
Great food. Great chef

I recently dined at what used to be an amazing French restaurant, now rebranded as just another overpriced Armenian spot in a city already overflowing with them. The service was commendable, but sadly, the food fell flat.
We arrived with high expectations, having made dinner reservations in advance, completely unaware of the new management and menu. Our first course, a beet salad, was a letdown—only seven small pieces of beets surrounded by a mound of bitter arugula.
Next, we tried the prime rib steak, which the waitress failed to mention was simply steak on a skewer. It was dry and tasted overwhelmingly bloody, with zero seasoning. For our final dish, the lamb chops, I requested medium rare, but what arrived was overcooked to the point of being inedible.
If I had wanted Armenian food, I would have gone to Raffi's Kabob. I genuinely wish the new owners would change the name so unsuspecting customers wouldn't confuse it with the delightful experience it once offered. Overall, a disappointing evening that left me longing for the past.
Parking: There is free 90-minute parking across the street on Orange st.

Some of the dishes were really tasteful while others needed more flavor ( oyster mushrooms tarragon salad were a bit bland) portions were just the right size. Music was great will definitely be back.

Epique Restaurant is an absolute gem in LA! From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that's both cozy and luxurious, perfectly blending the comfort of a Michelin-starred restaurant with the vibe of sitting in the presidential row at a Hollywood Bowl concert. The music is an extraordinary mix of Armenian songs masterfully paired with international classics, creating an ambiance that's nothing short of magical. The level of sound is very comfortable - it’s easy to talk to each other.
The culinary experience is equally exceptional. The halloumi cheese is a revelation—deliciously unique in its preparation and presentation. The dolma is hands down the best I've ever tasted, with flavors that seem to deepen with every bite. The lula (we tried with beef and lamb), served with a sauce that perfectly complements it, is so juicy and tender it melts in your mouth. And don’t even get me started on the halva with ice cream—a light and exquisite dessert that perfectly caps off the meal.
The service is top-notch, with servers who are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and professional—the best you’ll find in LA. Epique is the place to go if you want a dining experience that’s nothing short of spectacular!
