So what happened to this place?? I just discovered them this year and they're already closed :'(( When I went with my friend I was in awe at the amount of games. The food was good. We had fun. I think it cost us $10 to sit.

My daughter and I come here and play games and eat. One of her favorite places. Love the time here with my daughter.

I've been wanting to come here with friends for a long time now as I've always loved the game cafes in South Korea. The $5 for weekday and $7.50 for weekend entry fee is very reasonable, especially since you can stay there as long as you want! No time limit! I came here on a Saturday night with my friends and I loved it. Once you get checked in, you have access to an incredible selection of board and card games, a majority of which I've never even seen before. There were loads of options and me and my friends were impressed with the variety. If you love board games, this is the place to come. There's a nice variety of food and drink options at the cafe and there's self-serve water which I appreciated. I didn't try the food but my friend who got the pizza said it was good. The inside is clean, and the tables are large enough to fit the board games and any drinks you might get. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They checked up on us and asked us if we needed help finding any games. It's a cozy atmosphere inside and once we got settled in, we didn't want to leave. A great place to spend with friends. Only problem is that the street parking is very limited. There's no parking structure and the building is next to a residential area, so that made parking pretty difficult. Of course that's not the cafe's fault. Overall, I had a lot of fun here with my friends and I'm glad this kind of place exists here in LA. They should have more places like this here in the states! I'll definitely be coming back!

Come for the food, but stay for the games. I can't recommend their pies enough! Their baker is a master at what he does. Games The games are a giant plus, but I come here for the food. Their selection is very wide and allows patrons to try out games they haven't pulled the trigger on yet. They also stock lots of themed versions of popular games which keeps you interested even if you've played a million times before. Setting The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The lighting isn't too dim or too bright. The bathroom is kept clean. Seating varies from bench seating to comfy couches to regular wooden chairs. Again, get something baked. I'm eating their pie for breakfast as I type this from home because I bought extra to go when I visited yesterday.

I've been to Game Haus twice because I was so impressed during my first visit! I was a frequent customer at board game cafes in Korea, but I hadn't been able to find anything similar in the states until now. The selection of games is immense, the venue is clean, and the costs are reasonable. You really can explore a bunch of different games to your heart's content here, or if you just want to get right down to the playing, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and can help you choose a game. I personally didn't order any food or drinks here, but some of my friends did and said it was good for the value, making it a perfect mid-game snack. I definitely want to try some food the next time I visit. My only complaint is that one of the games was quite old and dirty with crusted food stains, so I hope that maybe games like these would be replaced with newer copies just because I felt a little grossed out touching cards that had questionable 3d stains on them. All in all, I definitely will be frequenting Game Haus even though I live nowhere near Glendale!

I was a little bummed by this place. Amazing game selection, weird setting. I went to just sort of hang out and see what was there to maybe friends another time, and I felt super unwelcome.

What an absolute blast of an evening. Such a great atmosphere, vibe, and people. We got to meet one of the co-owners, Terry, who was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about introducing people to board games. He recommended us a two player co-operative game and also gave us a tutorial which was so nice of him. The game he recommended was fantastic and my friend and I got really into it. We both got drinks which was really fun to have while playing some great board games. It was such a wonderful experience, start to finish and we’re so happy we came. Can’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you Terry!

I absolutely loved this place! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you love board games. Their selection is crazy cool, we didnt know how to play majority of the games but we definitely tried. They have 4 walls completely covered in games, ones ive never heard of but we’re definitely going back with a bigger group to try more games. Their drinks, their black forest cake and their cookies were amazing! The staff is very friendly, patient and attentive. They are following covid guidelines, the place is clean and masks are required unless you’re eating/drinking.

Visit this cafe with your friend instead of scrambling through to find the next bar or club to land with no reservations . While you sip you coffee and snack on some pastries spend time playing board/card games at this game library . They have a massive collection of games ranging from all categories including simple game as UNO. They even have a catalogue of games that aren't on display but can be requested.Time here would just pass so quickly you won't even feel it . Plenty of seating available in a quiet environment, mask are mandatory within the cafe for safety and they have friendly staff who come and check on you for any help that you may need. They do accept reservations for $10 if you like your space and time but also have walk-in for $7.50. This is place is for the game lovers not exclusive boutique coffee lovers. Given the virtual world we are in its worth stepping out and spending few hours with friends in this gaming cafe.

I was first introduced to board game rooms when I was in Korea in 2005. It would be about $3 or 4 usd per hour to play games there. I can't recall. It's 2021 and $7.50 pp with no time limit is a steal. Took my kids here on a weekend and played for about 2 hours. We went around 1pm and there was no wait. My son loved game haus. He is always asking to go back. We played so many different games. The kids section is actually pretty decent. My 4 and 6 year old were definitely entertained. For some of the harder kid games, we modified the rules to make it easier. As soon as we have a free weekend, we plan on going back.

Super wholesome fun! Came on a Saturday afternoon with a reservation. Two of our friends joined unexpectedly and they still accommodated us! Food was good. Over 1500 games to choose from. Unfortunately due to COVID you STILL HAVE TO WEAR YOUR MASK AT ALL TIMES IF YOU ARENT CONSUMING FOOD OR BEV ACTIVELY.

My stay at the GameHaüs Café had been a very pleasant experience. They have the widest selection of board games that I have ever seen in my entire life. Literally over 1000 board games!! WOW! I even asked to reserve a specific board game, and they fulfilled my request! They've also got a good selection of beer, and I thought their brownies and pizza were ?, all made in house. At the end of it, I couldn't believe how much time had passed, but it was over before I knew it. As long as you're following their safety guidelines (mask indoors), you should have a blast here. Make sure to bring a couple of your buddies!

A crazy cranky lady and her son stumble in after 5 complaining loudly about how much LA sucks and she can't wait to get back to NY and why aren't there any places to charge your phone in this town ...and they smiled and offered her and her son a seat and an outlet and an hour if peace. Thank you so much. Xoxo the cranky lady from NY and her mortified son. ?
