Great little cafe in the heart of La Crescenta-Montrose. Good coffee and croissants, especially the za’atar croissant it is mind blowingly good. Definitely recommend!

Rude ass girls that work there. First time I ever come in with my friends and they went to the restroom first before they ordered something and the girls behind the bar started saying among themselves “restrooms are for costumers only” then they come out and put a written sign on the door, when finally my friends ordered I lost my desire to order anything and they almost did too. They all had attitudes, not coming back here, doubt that my friends will either.
Great place with good quality food.
But the marble loaf cake is way overpriced.
Similar cakes can be found for less than 7$.

Food is delicious and fresh but they constantly forget to include my entire order through delivery.

I found this place to be different from the one in La Canada in terms of food, ambiance, and service. I was disappointed—quite frankly. My ham and cheese panini had no veggies, and the salad didn’t have generous amount of dressing. (They should have given it to me on the side.) The wait was long, too. It was lacking in many ways.

A fave! I have been multiple times and the service, atmosphere, and food is consistently good!
Today I ordered a Vanilla Latte and a strawberry cake. The cake was so light and fluffy, and not overly sweet, definitely a recommendation! I have had the spinach feta croissant, creme brulee, and the Mediterranean bowl, all good items!

Gio's cafe is a hidden treasure in the Crescenta Valley area. I am a longtime fan, but they especially impressed me with their fabulous catering, this week, which surpassed my expectations. Special thanks to Azniv and her team for the exceptional quality of their products and for always being so kind.
Gio's Bakery & Café is a small Parisian style cafe and bakery that serve pastries, breads, crepes, and sandwiches as well as coffee/tea.Indoor decor and atmosphere were cute and relaxing, respectively. Outdoor patio with street view was spacious. I came to try a light dessert and iced coffee. Tiramisu was tasty, soft and delightful. However, my iced coffee was banal and mediocre in quality; I had to give it away after two small sips.Service was inconsistent. Customer service was just okay; female server was nice and polite. Overall, I liked their Tiramisu but abhor their iced coffee.

Great sandwich but didn't offer anything but salad with it even when we said we cannot eat spinach. He should have offered us chips or fruit (the girl told us later after it was served). So that made us disappointed. Waste of food, needlessly. The desserts were delicious. But parking nearby was only for 30 min, so we were stressed trying to hurry. Prices were quite high. And seating area was quite limited. But the sandwiches were great. I recommend getting the sandwiches to go and then eat and take your time like at the park or at home. And definitely get a dessert.
