I bought one thin bread for a another store, and really loves the taste. I went again to buy bread, but I could not find same. so I decided to go directly to the bakery store, but it seems it is closed, and it was only a week in between.. I tried to call to make sure they still exist, or moved, but no answer.. I am login to still give 5 stars for the taste. I hope I will find this bread again.

No one makes lavash as good as them. The best lavash ever ! You can find the lavash at store like super king or Sunland Produce

Good morning Yelpers! I arrived to this location 5:50am and it's really open! Make sure to go to 316 E Maple as the original location 715 S Glendale is incorrect. The bakery smells amazing from the street. I was greeted warmly by Scarlett. I asked for her breakfast recommendation and she brought out a Matnakash. It's amazing! There's a wonderful texture to this bread. It came out warm and fresh. I also had an Apple Pie(day-old) and was not bad. They don't service the pies and some other items until 10am. I see other patrons visiting and leaving with multiple bags of Lavash! I had to order a Rye Lavash to make wraps. I'll definitely be back!

They're still serving up fresh bread 24/7! Came here around 3AM at night and picked up some small baked goods (cheese boreks, meat boreks, apple pie) & a matnakash bread. The entire neighborhood always smells delicious at night because of Glendale Fine Bakery. Everything in our little haul was tasty and fresh baked. Puff pastries were buttery, light and airy. Matnakash was soft and chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. According to their business info on Yelp, the late night entrance (after 10PM) is located at 316 E Maple Street. You can walk into the bakery from the 316 E Maple Street entrance, there's a small parking area out front. They had a new price list posted on the glass counter (please see photos). The workers will grab the big breads for you from the back room, and there's smaller baked goods on the multi-tiered rack

You can buy Barbari bread here... but not a good quality one!

the owner here should get himself nicer workers. the workers are very rude you go ask for bread they throw the bread on you, there always so moody and mad .also the lavash is so dry and old before it was better

Buying your Barbari bread for a couple of years now. WAS ALWAYS FRESH, GREAT. In the last 2-3 months, I buy the Barbari, but can't eat it. It's old, crumbles if toasted, it smells moldy and -old. Not sure what's going on...ive tried to call 1818-2400229, but no one answers, no voicemail. Verry odd. You just lost a good customer...also, all my friends saying the same: something is wrong. We're hoping the Bakery can bounce back.

This was a surprisingly good find. I was out late and was searching for a snack- as unassuming as it is, it's also a simple and solid bakery. I don't quite know the kind of culture they represent but either way the bread was enough to satisfy my cravings, and for two bucks? I'm a fan.

This is my favorite bakery in Glendale (and there are a million)! The bread is fresh and no preservatives. And super friendly staff. Highly recommend this for all your lavash/matnakash/any other bread needs!

This place should be shut down, Employment law is so complicated, employees often don't even know what their rights are regarding vacation, comp time, commissions. In fact, some employees don't even know when an employer is violating a workplace law. This place has been based on a principal of cheap labor, and by cheating their employees. Taking advantage of uneducated immigrants this place has been building their success. No safety training, no proper bookkeeping... unpaid 1st week.

The matnakash is where it's at. It will mold after ~5 days, because there are no preservatives in it. I recommend cutting and freezing what you don't plan on using in the first few days.

Points for good lavash bread and others (although all have diminished in quality and taste). Points for being open 24 hours, despite some types of bread run out and not available all day. Points deducted for parking. Points deducted for overall cleanliness of the store.

Not a fan of this place. Very difficult to just get bread especially with the parking
