I've come by twice now driving from Sherman Oaks and y'all have been closed each time. I went by what your hours on Yelp said. Disappointed. Now I notice the new hours only on weekends it seems. I'm not trying to be fooled a 3rd time. We may or may not try again. Your IG photos were really a good draw and we really wanted to try your food.

We absolutely love this place! Great food and drinks. The fried pickles are the best I have ever had. Everything on the menu is fresh and quality. So happy this place is in my neighborhood.

Glenwood Smokehouse offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, but falls short in several key aspects. While the ambiance is inviting, the food quality leaves much to be desired, bordering on mediocre. The staff, though amicable, are unfortunately inattentive, which detracts from the overall dining experience. One of the most disappointing aspects is the value for money. The prices at Glenwood Smokehouse are outrageous considering the portion sizes. For instance, their "platter" offering, which includes two meats and two sides, comes at a hefty price of $31 and includes minuscule portions such as two 3-inch ribs and about 3-ounces tri-tip strips. After spending over $160 for a party of four, we left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hungry. Overall, while Glenwood Smokehouse may have potential, its lackluster food quality, inattentive staff, and poor value for money make it a regrettable dining choice.

We showed up on Saturday at 6:30 pm for dinner. Staff is friendly but not attentive. The restaurant looks modern and clean. We ordered a few items from Happy hour menu. Staff recommended the bone in ribeye so we went with it. We also ordered baby back ribs, chicken and pulled pork, street tacos (HH) , onion rings, loaded nachos with pull pork (HH) and hot wings (HH). After orders were placed, staff came back to tell us that there was only enough pulled pork for the tacos and nachos so we could not have it as one of the meats on the platter. So we got tri-tip instead. Then staff left and back again - out of baby back ribs also. So we got brisket instead. Staff left and back again - how would you like your ribeye. Medium. Staff left and back again - sorry we ran out of ribeye and chicken. By now, the restaurant has no pulled pork, no chicken, no baby back rib and no ribeye. You would think the restaurant is packed since opening at noon.... (For so many meats to run out) There are only 5 tables of customers in this restaurant and many other restaurants near the Americana are packed. Food finally came. Wings, onion rings, mac and cheese, corn are hot. Tacos are warm. Tri-tip and brisket are cold. Flavor is decent, but not having meat being hot is just not acceptable at a BBQ place. We are very disappointed and will not return again.

My experience at this restaurant was dreadful. The baby back ribs tasted like a mix of carcass and feces. When I raised my concerns with the waiter, I was told that their meats were pre-smoked and that it should be fine to consume. This response left me questioning the overall quality and safety of their food. I won't be returning.

Good appetizers, but I got the chicken sandwich and had to send it back twice because it was not cooked all the way through.

The food wasn’t what I expected, mash potatoes had no flavor, the barbecue sauce was gross and it cost $9 just for two little pieces of corn bread. I spent over $100 and it was not worth it.

The restaurant was mostly empty in the middle of a weekday, but I'm happy we stopped by. All the food was delicious and the service was friendly and eager. It's an unassuming spot in an area where there are so many options available, but it's worthy of going back to!

Worst bbq ribs and wings I've ever had. Over cooked and smoke flavor was either liquid smoke or dirty smoke. Meats were dry!

Made a reservation for a large party about 4 hours in advance and when we showed up to the restaurant for the reservation, they spent about 15 mins arranging the tables and seats (what was the point of the heads up?). Ordered our drinks, (two of our guests never received their drinks but the drinks still showed up on the bill) and placed our order for food. The food took about 45 mins to come to the table and when it did, the tri-tip was too undercooked. Asked the server to have the kitchen cook it more and the meat was returned about 10 minutes later with the meat having obviously sat in the smoker for 10 minutes (still undercooked). Service was sub-par as the waiter never came back to refill any water or ask if anyone wanted a refill on their drinks after the initial order. Overall was not impressed and now know why this restaurant was the emptier one out of the restaurants in the area. Venture at your risk.

Despite the company's efforts, their BBQ unfortunately falls short of expectations. The flavors lack depth, leaving the meat somewhat bland and the sauces fail to deliver that punchy, memorable taste. Despite their enthusiasm, the execution lacks finesse; the smokiness doesn't quite penetrate the meat, resulting in a somewhat lackluster BBQ experience. While some aspects show promise, the overall outcome lacks the rich, tantalizing essence expected from exceptional BBQ.

We are {were} regulars there... so disappointing. The service was so slow, even though we were the only customers there. Surprisingly, although there were long lines at every other restaurant around the corner at the Americana, for some reason Glenwood was completely empty. Once we got there, we sat at the bar. The mood was "cold" and dismissive. My brother and I had visited the Americana for Holiday Scenery and local appetizers and decided for some Glenwood Smokehouse to take home. The food was overcooked and cold. So disappointed with the service and food. This has happened before with local eateries where they start off strong and then lose it. No need for us to continue going.

Bland, flavorless, dry and cold. You're better off eating a TV dinner. If you're thinking of eating here, don't. In N Out is across the street.
