I am soooo bummed this location is closed. I hope it's temporary. They are right at Americana off of Brand street. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. Service has also been really great. As busy as they are, they are always very attentive. Actually, I don't remember them ever being slow. Always packed.

CLOSED??? Well let us go out on a high-note... (This review was originally drafted during the January 2020 dine L.A.) Finally, I am happy to give 5-stars to a Granville! What got them there on this particular visit was not only the consistently delicious food (old favorites and new), but the service by a bartender named Tony. Bartender came over pretty quickly, handing me a menu while introducing himself as Tony. I did have to ask for the dineLA menu and this was brought over right away. Granville had the best deal for this, where I was able to enjoy a small bowl of the butternut squash soup (!), finally try the bacon & bleu burger (with french fries no additional charge for dine L.A.), and the devil's advocate chocolate cake. Berry lemonade rounded out my lunch, all for $20. Although this was a semi-busy time for the restaurant, Tony made sure everything was okay, timely delivering each course. Refills for the berry lemonade were prompt. Even though he was constantly in and out of the area, I was never neglected. The burger was prepared to my specifications and delicious with the blue cheese and bacon. This was also the first burger I was able to have since having dental work done and this really made up for it in the best way. Realized I was on a time constraint so I had to wrap up the rest of my meal/dessert and this was done efficiently and quickly. The cake was 'deconstructed' so it wouldn't fall apart during the trip home and I actually preferred this as I didn't eat the cream cheese frosting. Later on, I'm happy to report the cake itself was rich and the port cherries were amazing. Boy am I glad I don't live in the apartments above this place, I'd be in Big trouble. I'm not in Glendale too often, but I'll make sure this is a stop when I'm in the area again and hungry. Well, not anymore... Although I'm glad there are plenty of locations to go to, this one was a great experience. I hope Tony can be relocated if he wants to be; surely others could follow his customer service.

Pick up was super easy! Be aware of the tiny Parking lot. These are large sandwiches that drip all over but they are SO good! Fries are thick and amazing!

I live in the area and have been ordering delivery from Granville for almost a year now and have always been happy with my food. I look forward to ordering from them when I decide I'm going to get takeout for dinner. They have the best butternut squash soup I've ever had! I've also dined in person for brunch with friends and we had a great time. We were able to enjoy our meal and did not feel rushed at all. I'm looking forward to ordering from Granville again once they reopen!

My husband and I had our first date at Granville in Burbank 4 years ago, and now that we live near the Americana, we support the Glendale location! Everyone who works here is the sweetest, especially Tony. Phenomenal service every time we dine here, and equally amazing food. I am never disappointed when we eat here--thank you for being awesome, Granville Glendale! Our favorites: Bacon Avocado Melt Sandwich Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza Bacon and Blue Burger Lobster Bisque Taco Trio

I love Granville! It's always a safe option if you don't know where to grab food; they have plenty of options and everything is good! I've been going to this location a lot recently, however the Burbank location is pretty much the same. The new one in Pasadena is also the same quality, however I think the servers are still adapting to the pace of the restaurant. At any rate, the service, the atmosphere, and the food are all high quality here. Starting with the service, the servers and hosts are always very friendly! They're ready to answer any questions and are knowledgeable about the menu. They're pretty good at accommodating if there are certain issues with a dish. The place itself is great for lunch/dinner with friends and it's a nice date spot too. In the evening, it's pretty romantic so I would definitely recommend it to couples. It's also in the Americana/downtown Glendale area so it's a great place to walk around after, shop, or grab dessert. I think you can park in the Americana and get validation or park in the mall garage for free. The food is all good here. I've never had a dish I was disappointed with. I'll give a quick run down of some of the stuff I've tried! Sandwiches: The chipotle chicken club, Santa Barbara chicken, and turkey club are all delicious. You can get them with chips, salad, or fries. I usually do fries and I love them! Pasta: The beef stroganoff is my favorite here. It's super flavorful and a good remake of a classic dish. I've also tried the chicken penne, spicy pasta, and Mac and Cheese. All three were pretty decent, however I still preferred the stroganoff. The chicken penne tastes like it's missing just one flavorful ingredient. The Mac and Cheese is overpowered by the gruyère cheese taste. The spicy pasta was a little too spicy for me (I have a pretty low tolerance). Salads/Small Plates: Their Caesar salad is one of my favorite restaurant Caesar salads. The dressing is really tasty and it's good on its own or as the main dish. The house made hummus or the grilled cheese dippers are the best appetizers. I will say the grilled cheese dippers are a little sweet because of the caramelized onions, but they're still worth trying! I usually get the berry lemonade or their craft soda (their version of Coke). I know they have a pretty extensive drink menu as well, however I haven't tried it. Overall, I think this is a great place to try. I keep coming back because I know I'll always end up with a dish I like even if I try something new.

One of my favorite places to eat for lunch! I've eaten here twice because it was that good. Their salmon with mashed potatoes and corn is delish. It reminded me of when Cheesecake Factory used to have that exact same item on their list & I miss it oh so much ); Thank god I found a dupe! Their spicy chicken pasta is good too!! Excellent customer service! One of the men gave me burning cream when I accidentally burned myself with hot water at work nearby. I'm glad they took care of me (,: I'll be coming back again whenever I have the chance to (:

Absolutely fantastic experience! There were plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available for seating without any wait! Our waiter was super amazing and took very good care of us and checked on us frequently! He gave us super helpful recommendations that led us to have the best meal with the Uptown Max and Cheese. This was phenomenal you guys I mean it's the perfect blend of Mac and cheese with chicken, asparagus, peas with a perfect crunch topping! My favorite!

Granville earns the distinction of being the first place I have dinner on my first night in Glendale! We were greeted, and seated, very quickly. We had two great servers, Kevin and Colin - they both kept a attentive eye on us throughout our meal. Granville has a pretty extensive selection - my friend and I ended up going with the Uptown Mac and Cheese, and I added a cup of the soup of the night, Chicken Tortilla. I also went with their berry lemonade, and my friend had the Agave Vanilla Cream Soda. Our food was so rich and delicious - I had to pass on dessert at that time, which is no small thing for me! But, I think I'll be back in California in the not too distant future, and I look forward to eating here again!!!

Just finished an acting class nearby and wanted to get some dinner before my drive back to San Diego. I found Granville on my Happy Cow app. I have no complaints! The housemade chilli was different, yummy and the portion size was just right. The ginger thai salad was flavorful and light. Ok, maybe a little critique; the flourless chocolate cake was lovely but a bit too sweet for my taste. It was so tasty that I wanted to eat it all, but it was just too sweet. So, I only ate half. The tag-team service was excellent! Zack and Sylvia were perfect: warm, knowledgeable and efficient. I'll definitely return!

I love it. Food was delicious and customer service was super. Price is very reasonable and portion of food is just about right. Not too much nor too little.
