I wanted some Georgian food and heard good things about Khinkali House. On my way I saw this place. When I got to KH, I said to myself, that parking situation looked stupid. So I went back here and got a spot right in front of the restaurant. The kitchen door was open and I saw someone slapping dough between their hands, which is always a good sign. The inside is very interesting because half the tables are sectioned off with what looks like a matchstick fencing material, which I found intriguing and helpful for private parties, although of course you could hear everything being said. The statuesque server was all business. I ordered the Imeruli Katchapuri, which is like a beautifully made stuffed pizza with fondue inside. It's wildly good it's hard to overstate how perfect the bread was. I then tried something I never had before which was the Sacivi, which as described is chicken in a thick Walnut sauce. It's basically an excellent chicken salad with a pureed consistency yet much much thicker than something like hummus. It was very tasty but super rich, and a difficult thing to stack on top of the katchapuri. These dishes are meant to be eaten with Friends and I don't have any, so I have to take most of it to go.
So great.especially the service lady.top top top
The drunk noodles were very good. Nice spicy kick to it.
This was our to go spot for Xinkhali when in LA, even though they dont have good customer service, we liked to go there for the Xinkhali, they used to have perfect seasoning with perfect amount of greens inside. This time it was very blend and not what it used to taste like. This was a total disappointment. Horrible heavy onion taste.
Horrible service, the waitress showed that she doesn't care with whole your appearance. We asked her questions about the menu, she wasn't able to answer and went out while my husband was talking to her. Half of the menu was unavailable for ordering.
Good customer service. Food tased authentic/home cooked from childhood. I hate onion & parsley/coriander, but they were tolerable in the lentil soup. Bread right amount of softness with a firm crust. It does smell of cigarettes. So, I recommend taking to go, even though it has nice decor. Very little parking. Food holds up well.
It had been a while since the last time I ate Georgian food and was happy to find authentic and delicious food with a very homemade feel. Will certainly be back when I come back to LA.

this is the worst cafe! the cuisine is terrible, prepared from old products, the meat was carried over with a smell, the soup was sour, the only thing you could eat was the bread, the staff was rude. I don’t recommend it!, this is not a cafe, this is a snack bar at the station where they want to poison you. This is the opinion we still have!
