House of Joy in La Crescenta used to be my favorite spot, but my last visit was deeply disappointing. The Mongolian beef was marred by an unpleasant burnt oil taste, and the vegetables were soaked in it. The rice was dry and seemed like it had been left over from the night before. This experience was a letdown compared to what I once enjoyed here.

Great food and wonderful staff. The place is very clean and there is a parking lot.
I really enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the sweet and sour chicken. Everything was excellent and very large portions.

It looks like a mom and Pop Asian restaurant at first I thought it was a Chinese restaurant and I was very excited and then I saw that the menu had a lot of Korean food as well. Turns out it is a fusion restaurant. It was extremely delicious

idk who gives such disappointing 1 star review, but this place deserves more than 5 stars, at least. Very high quality fried pork and beef, definitely S tier food in general. Every single food was a serious GORMAT. Whoever complains, they never ate good.

Love this place, food is good. Hadn't been in a long time but the prices have gone way up. Ordered kung pao chicken, kung pao shrimp and an extra side of rice which was $60.

This place is one of the few Chinese restaurants in La Crescenta. The food is generally good, but it’s inconsistent. We got the Mongolian beef this time and it was too spicy for our liking. And, they really need to work on packing their food better when customers make it to-go. Often times, the sauce leaks and creates a huge mess. But this is the first time, the styrofoam lid melted and was disfigured. It must have been crushed by another box that came with our order. Let me tell you, I was in complete shock! They ought to use environmental-friendly packaging because using styrofoam boxes with hot food is harmful to our health and just not acceptable!!!!!!

Peking chicken and Mongolian beef are my favorite entrees aside from black bean noodle. Typically Peking chicken is on the spicy side with a lot of flavor. Mongolian beef is sweet and no broccoli because it’s Chinese Korean fusion. We typically frequent the Glendale location. Good food

Two visits in a row they didn't get the order right. Couldn't even flag a waiter about the problem. Service needs work.

Parking: Parking is strictly limited.
