House of Joy has quickly become one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — friendly smiles, fast seating, and attentive service throughout the meal. You can tell they truly care about their customers.
Every dish was packed with flavor and came out piping hot. The dim sum was especially impressive — fresh, perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. The Peking duck and salt-and-pepper shrimp were standouts, but honestly, everything we tried was delicious. Portions are generous and prices are very fair for the quality you get.
What really sets House of Joy apart, though, is the level of service. Our tea cups were never empty, plates were cleared promptly, and the servers checked in just enough without ever being intrusive. It felt like dining at a place that truly values its guests.
Whether you’re coming for family dinner, a casual lunch, or a special occasion, House of Joy is a gem. Highly recommend — can’t wait to come back

Delicious Chinese food and amazing service. I highly recommend came in from Denver and stopped at this place and we were so satisfied. Everyone was so friendly here.
I had juajangmyun and I really hope that they didn't use the outer peels of onions. So much portion of onions was too chewy in texture. Come on...how expensive is onion, huh???
Other than that, the food is excellent overall

The place looks a bit stuffy, but the service is fast. The food is average. Still, it seems to be a Korean-Chinese restaurant in this neighborhood where families or groups can dine together.

Overly priced comparing to similar outlets. It is the worst Korean-Chinese food we have ever experienced in USA.

Repeatedly disappointed and afraid to come back :( Used to be my favorite restaurant in the area, got served spoiled onions multiple times via dine-in and delivery. The Mongolian beef was not cooked the same as it was the first time we went. Owners seem very kind, but my husband and I are hesitant to come back. If this issue was fixed we would love to return. The food used to be amazing.

The fried rice & Shrimp Chow Mein were awful and nothing like other dishes of same names😂😒
The service was amazing and the food so delicious! While the place is a little small, it is so worth it for the friendly smiles from the staff and tasty delicacies!

This was our first time...and we were not disappointed. The dinner for two was soo much food, we can bring home for kids and still have more leftover. Great music as well.

Honestly the food quality got a bit better when we ordered this past weekend. The samsun jjajang myun (seafood black noodle) was tasty and all the menus we ordered was less salty and more flavorful as we preferred.
