I visited King Taco for the first time today, and I really liked it. I ordered several different items to try as much as possible: sope pastor, sope tinga, chicharron tacos, pastor tacos, asada tacos, and also tamal pollo and tamal mole. King Taco treated me with the rarest of miraculous gifts - a nearly empty restaurant in the afternoon with no customer line waiting. It was a deep pleasure I haven't enjoyed in LA for nearly all my 50 years here; it was like snowfall in Socal, a chimerical happening.
King Taco! Home of cheap, fast(ish), mexican food ... served in lovely Styrofoam containers and paper plates. Recommend the carnitas and asada, but avoid the al pastor (oh, and the nachos). If you get a burrito go for the combination (with beans and rice). Big location with plenty of seating. Service can get real slow on nights/weekends but it's a King Taco so you know they at moving as quickly as possible
