Kopan is a great spot for your Japanese fix. Although I typically like my ramen separate from my sushi, this may be an exception. The ramen broth was creamy and rich and full of flavor. The egg was perfectly cooked, but the ‘super spicy’ was lacking a good spicy kick. The sushi was good, but not quite “fine” sushi, but they had plenty of options and creative rolls to choose from. Their crispy rice appetizer is also amazing. All the staff were very friendly and always smiling. This is a great spot to come with friends for a nice casual meal.

Went in on a Monday night, ordered takeout. I often order the *same* thing at their Burbank location, and it has *always* been generous, fresh, and well-packaged at Burbank Kopan. I went here to Glendale because I'd been shopping at the Galleria and wasn't going toake it back to Burbank before last call.
So... Order was taken quickly, and brought out to me maybe like 3 minutes later. But when I get home to check it out (I live about 10 miles away), I discover...that I wasted my money.😠 The rice was just a little scoop *thrown* in a paper takeout box, so that it could dry out and get cold, which it was. And the veggies in my order, which are always the best thing from Burbank, and generously served from there, were (from Glendale) just a teeny amount of turning-brown *scraps*, overcooked, mostly limp cabbage. And they were *also*, like the rice, just *thrown* in a paper takeout box.
I'm never coming back to *this* location. They don't deserve my business.

I like this place a lot but it does feel a little cramped. The food is good overall I recommend the sushi over the ramen tbh.

The ramen taste is good. But the size is on the smaller side compared to other ramen I had.

The wait was super long!
The service was not good!
The food was ok..
The servers kept going back and forth just staring at the guests, making us feel like we had to hurry up and leave!!! And they automatically tipped themselves $10! As if they did an awesome service!!!!

Came here on a whim when my son wanted ramen and it was great! The ramen stole the show at our table. He got the cutlet ramen and the ramen itself was fantastic, as was the perfectly crispy cutlet. Sushi was nothing super special, but it was good. Salted edamame could have used a lot more salt, but it wasnt bad.

Service was exceptionally quick and friendly.

Kid-friendliness: Had no issues here with a school aged kid, might be cramped if you had a high chair/stroller

At this price point, surprisingly good! Many options to choose from and has “happy hour” rolls promos during weekdays
A must try if in the area.

Kopan was an awesome spot if you’re looking for a variety of flavors. The sushi roll options were quite extensive and equally expensive. Surely had me pensive. It was an easy decision to avoid the ramen because they use MSG in their broth. Really confused how a place in the LA area in this day and age would still be doing that as it’s been proven to be a neurotoxin. I got routine migraines my entire life until I eliminated msg, and gratefully most of the world did as well. Not Kopan, thus preventing me from enjoying what looked like a great meal.

Nonetheless, I ordered the spicy tuna lemon roll and was very impressed. I also got a baked salmon roll and was a bit disappointed to realize the one from sushi stop of all places is better and a third of the price. Overall it was all delicious and the sushi roll buy one get one half off. I still spent almost $40 on two rolls after taxes and tip so definitely pricey but I left full and satisfied.

Parking: Lots of street parking but spots fill up
