Kumadori is easily one of the best sushi spots in Glendale! The atmosphere is clean, modern, and relaxed — perfect for a casual dinner or date night. The staff are super friendly and attentive; they check in often and make sure you’re well taken care of without being overbearing.
The sushi itself is fantastic — fresh, flavorful and well presented. You can tell they use high-quality fish. Prices are fair for the quality, and the portions are generous. Plus, there’s free parking for the first 90 minutes nearby, which is a big bonus in this area.

This place is great. I have been here a couple of times and never had disappointed me. their food is so fresh, recently I tried the lemon roll and OMG it was so good, i definitely recommend it. service was also great; they will keep refilling my drinks without asking. it's a must try.

Kumadori was a lovely surprise! We were greeted upon arrival and seated quickly. The sushi was flavorful and fresh. We had to take some to go! The server was attentive to our needs and gave us some great suggestions to try. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Kumadori did not disappoint! On top of that, the interior is sooo pretty. Super chic exp vibes but still somehow cozy and comfy ??The service was really friendly and made the whole experience even better. All of the staff checked in on us constantly and made us feel super well taken care of. I’ve had plenty of sushi in New York, but this place really stood out. Definitely see how people become regulars here.

I paid almost $70 dls with a tip, one person, and I left upset. The only good thing is the service of those who prepare at the bar, from there on out if you know about sushi, don't stop there.

I had a really disappointing experience at Kumadori Japanese Restaurant. During our meal, a server brought us a chicken wrap we didn’t order. When I asked about it, they told me it was a Chef’s Kitchen Special and said it was on the house. I appreciated the gesture—until I checked the receipt after we left and saw we were charged $17.95 for it.
This is incredibly unprofessional. If something is presented as complimentary, it should not end up on the bill. It felt misleading and dishonest, and it completely soured the experience. I won’t be returning, and I recommend checking your receipt carefully if you choose to dine here
