Very disappointing experience at L’Avenue.
We were charged $25 per person just to be seated, which already put the bill at $380 for our group of 3. We were never clearly informed that there was a strict 1.5 hour time limit at the time of seating or ordering. Only after we finished our meal were we told that we had to leave immediately because our time was up.
If you’re going to charge a premium just to sit down, basic transparency is the bare minimum. A time limit like that should be clearly disclosed up front, not enforced after guests have already spent a significant amount of money.
The food itself was fine, but the experience felt rushed and transactional. For the price point, this is not the level of hospitality I’d expect. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place based on how this was handled.

After ordering and getting an estimate of delivery, when it was close to time, they suddenly added an additional hour. The excuse, that it was a busy night, really just meant they don't manage a busy night well. An extra hour is unacceptable anytime. A terrible first impression, resulting in no interest in a second impression.

Such an amazing restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh and full of flavor. The location is perfect, right near Americana, which makes it even more convenient. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back again!

Great restaurant to come down to and have a fun night out. Each day of the week has a different theme or event taking place. Happen to have shown up while they had live music playing and it was a great experience. Noise levels when there aren't any artist singing are high so youll have to speak up while holding conversation. Other than that, service was good, and both drinks/food where great.
This bar in the heart of Glendale has a real cool setup where a host walks u down to the bar and lounge dining area, kinda like a speakeasy! It's right next to the Americana where u can park too cuz parking is kind of difficult on Brand. The inside is really posh and elegant looking so dress to impress!
And they got Guinness on draft! I lucked out when I went on a hump day around sunset, and, while it was still quiet I got to meet two funny sisters at the bar celebrating something and had some good laughs over a few drinks. Staff was friendly too and the bartender was generous!
