The Iced Tea is the main reason I go to Maki & Don but the the udon is good too. The boaba is good but none of the other food is good. I think their bankrupt too.

Very nice, little place. I saw it on theskedge.com and decided to give it a shot. I liked the noodles here a lot. Everything is pretty cheap and will come back when I can.

Very good service, and everything was very clean. I understand that the restaurant is small, it's like a little cafe. Their drinks are really good particularly the boba it's amazing. The udon is pretty good, but the broth can taste much better. I would come there again if I ever happen to pass by.

Cool little noodle shop in the middle of Glendale. quick self order kiosk is pretty cool. What I like most is their simple menu that does not overwhelm you with complex dishes and side choices, it's probably the most refreshing thing a restaurant could do now to differentiate. Will eat there again.

I am beyond impressed with this establishment. First off, the customer service is AMAZING! They have given free items for frequent visits and have remembered simple requests. Example: my husband visits once a month, and for every visit, they bring him a side of kimchi with his meal because they remembered he enjoys it as a side. Simple gestures like that make this place so welcoming! They even boxed up my left overs for me so I can take it to go. The food was so delicious. I will absolutely be visiting this location again. If you haven't tried this location, it is definitely a hide treasure.

Lovely little place with tasty noms! It's really cool too. U order on screens against the walls, pay, then relax while the food gets made. We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Udon, Chicken Udon and Bulgogi Beef Bowl. To drink we had Thai Tea, Strawberry Lemonade, and Arnold Palmers. The drinks are all fresh made to order, as well as the food. I felt bad because we came an hour before closing, and there was one guy at that time, but he really knocked it out, and it was great! The beef was tender and delicious, the rice underneath was unique-it was a red color with what looked like a sort of lentil- very hearty and tasty. The kids LOVED the udon, and my oldest raved about the teriyaki bowl. My younger son and I were the only ones that liked the popcorn chicken. It has a pho taste to it, which I love, but my other 3 never did lol. The atmosphere is comfy modern, nicely lit. A great place to sit and eat good as hell food on a chilly night.

This place is pretty good for when you want to grab a quick bite. Last time I went, they said they stopped serving sushi in February. I'm not sure if this is temporary or permanent. The serving sizes were a little small, but flavor was okay.

Pretty limited menu. Only two types of udon : chicken and shrimp tempura. Over priced for what you get in a small bowl. Food was okay - nothing to rave about. Besides the udon and a few bowls , there wasn't much else. The sushi you see on yelp is no more. The rose winter melon was super sweet , I had to dilute it with water and ice. Tea overprice at $3 for a green tea bag seeped in 8oz of water. Sorry, won't be coming back. The workers were very sweet , probably college students, but overwhelmed by the not very big lunch crowd. won't be coming back but it was worth the shot.

They ladies here are very nice! I ordered a veggie bibimap and I was waiting the woman walked over to me and asked if I'd tofu. Although, I'm not that vegetarian it's still considerate to ask your customer. Also, big portions. Not sure if I'm gonna be able to finish hehe and tasty ingredients. I get bloated very easily and this feels light on my stomach.

We did not like this place at all unfortunately. First of all it was hot all heck inside. I got the tempura udon. The broth is so salty I had to dilute it with water. The shrimp are small and they soak up the broth so fast and you end up with a mushy mess. I got the mango lychee lemonade with boba. The boba was awful. It was barely formed and tasted not so great. It was a waste of our money we ended up getting sandwiches at Mario's deli after we left this place. I gave 2 stars just for the guy that worked there he was nice and helpful.

They've made some changes to their menu and not good ones. They don't have rolls anymore and are trying hard to sell you their bibimbap. The unagi bowl, which previously was fairly plentiful and just eel on rice, barely has any eel in it and they try to hide it by carefully placing carrots and broccoli on half the rice instead. The price has gone up for it too, from $10 to $12. Will not be returning.

Maki & Don is so delicious! Their rolls are great quality and they give a lot of noodles with their udon. The price is good as well as the food. The staff here is also very friendly. I would highly recommend it!

Jade was so sweet and accommodating for questions and recommendations. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing on a lazy Sunday evening. It's the perfect place to take a date or even dine alone. Personable, great service.

Not a good experience. Walked in with the music booming to EDM. Not a good start since I was sick. Instant headache for sure. My bowl of chicken teriyaki udon looked great, but tasted pretty mediocre. Broth was really salty. I came here with my partner to try a new restaurant, and I also needed soup since I had the flu (maybe that's why it tasted bad?). I also ordered their $16 dollar roll which was a crab roll topped with salmon. Not good either (again maybe it was the flu that affected my tastebuds, but even my partner agreed on the blandness of both the udon and roll). If you're looking for sushi in Glendale just know that the bar is really low. You won't really find anything of quality in this city. All the better places are in downtown LA most likely. (Hikari sushi in Montrose is fire though. Peep my review of them in my page if you like.) I will say that I might come back to try their boba when it's freshly made. My partner had asked the clerk when he made the boba to which he replied "I made it today." Cool cool buckaroo, but how long has it been sitting there though... According to my lady boba needs to be changed every four hours as she used to work for a boba shop in our college days. And considering that he said "today" and it being that it was an hour before closing that boba must've been sitting there for a good long while. I've yet to find a good boba place in Glendale too. All in all though if you're looking for really good Udon I'm not sure if this place is for you. Maybe go earlier in the day? Very surprised to see so many 4 star reviews for this place, and for us to have such a poor experience. I added an extra star because the clerk was kind enough to lower the volume of his music down after I'd asked him to.
