The MYA Rooftop was good over all , we went on a Thursday( 02/29/2024) night , but an hour of being there the lights went complete off and never came back on . the kitchen shut down due to no power , but our food just made it out before the lights went out . if it wasn't for the amazing food that still made our night good we would of asked for a discount due to eating in the dark lol. i would still come back here in the spring or summer great food ,good service .

We enjoyed an evening at MYA Rooftop. The rooftop was cozy due to the many outdoor heaters they had, thank you. Nice Glendale views ...we had spent the day at the Norton Simon Museum so it was a perfect spot to enjoy a very well balanced meal. Service was smooth, Noah did a good job + the whole staff and ambience was sweet.

Pretty place, great view. Sushi is good but what sucks is on Tuesday's they don't serve sushi even though menu states steak and sushi. Service is kinda slow you have to flag down the waiter even though place might be empty. Hookah is good and I love how they come around with the charcoal without having to ask for it. It is a bit of a pricey place especially the additional charges they put on your bill and no matter how many people you are there with they charge 18% for tip. Kinda crazy because usually most restaurants charge the fee when you are 6 or more.

Food was okay, what we got to try. Our server talked to another table for half and hour so we never got to order more than appetizers. Asked for "no smoking" but it doesn't matter where you sit. If someone is smoking you will feel like you did too.

I was disappointed with the change of the menu. However, we found a few things that my family and I was able to enjoy. The service was good, everyone was attentive. Im not sure if I would return anytime soon, but it was overall ok.

Just visited here for the first time. Slightly odd location for a mid rise hotel but OK, I'll go with the flow and the locals here. They offer valet but plenty of free street parking up and down Brand in close proximity at night. Take the lift to the Rooftop and you'll find a large area situated with table and couch sectionals. My group had cocktails and hookah - both were fine and as to be expected. The views are eh as it's covered with rain tenting and the service was as to be expected. The ambiance was interesting. I can see why the locals love this location however for me, not sure its worth a drive out unless meeting locals there.

This place is horrible the name of the place Maya, sushi and steak and they don't have a steak they're out of it. And the hookah it's kinda pricey, it's $45 each plus tax and we have to chase them for charcoal overall I end up not eating anything because they don't have a steaks :(

Perfect Valentine's day at MYA rooftop. Drinks were amazing. You have the best Hookah in Glendale!!! Perfect Service. Will definitely come back for regular night. Thank you for such a great evening .

Great service. Pretty sure the food all came from the freezer. Nothing was fresh ingredients. And the wine prices are insane even for LA. Especially bothersome since the online wine menu prices are dramatically different from the print menu upon arrival.

Terrible service, mediocre food- you're paying for the rooftop view. We had a reservation for 16 people for my friend's birthday. When we got there, they saved us two small couches that could only fit about 10 people. When we asked for extra chairs it took them forever, so the other 6 guests had to stand up for quite a while until we just started grabbing chairs ourselves. The server looked upset and inconvenienced by us the minute he saw us. He took forever to take anyone's drink order, and when the food runner arrived they didn't even know what drinks they were carrying. The food and hookah were lackluster and expensive.

DISCRIMINATION AND BILLING IRREGULARITIES AT MYA RESTAURANT! I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience at MYA Rooftop Restaurant. This review highlights potential discrimination and billing discrepancies encountered during my visit, raising serious legal and ethical concerns. On the evening of December 31, my son and I visited MYA Rooftop Restaurant to celebrate the New Year and my son's birthday. At 11:30 pm, I requested birthday greetings, a customary practice in most dining establishments, especially when celebrating special occasions with pre-arranged festivities. Regrettably, our experience was unfavorable when the manager, realizing our non-Armenian background, prohibited the DJ from extending birthday congratulations to my son. This incident suggests a disturbing correlation between satisfactory service and one's ethnic background, potentially violating California laws prohibiting discrimination in public accommodations. California law prohibits discrimination based on nationality or ethnicity in public accommodations, including restaurants. The alleged discriminatory conduct at MYA Rooftop Restaurant is disconcerting, and establishments must uphold the principles of anti-discrimination legislation. In addition to the discriminatory incident, I would like to draw attention to billing irregularities that further compounded the disappointment. I made a reservation fifteen days in advance, adhering to the restaurant's policy of a $50 per person advance payment, totaling $100. This prepayment was anticipated to be deducted from the final bill, including a 3% kitchen charge, an 18% service charge, and applicable taxes. However, despite these specified charges, the prepaid amount still needs to be refunded upon settling the final bill. Furthermore, an incorrectly prepared fake A5 Wagyu dish was returned due to substandard cooking and taste and needed to be removed from the final bill. The quality of ingredients, exemplified by a purportedly fresh truffle, was revealed to be canned and excessively firm, and the misrepresentation of Toro as Chutoro raises concerns about the transparency of billing practices. Each item was invoiced at a premium, notwithstanding its failure to meet the advertised high-quality standards. These issues collectively underscore the need to thoroughly examine MYA Rooftop Restaurant's adherence to anti-discrimination laws and financial transaction transparency. The potential intersection of discriminatory conduct and billing discrepancies raises serious legal and ethical questions. This experience has left me profoundly disappointed, and MYA Rooftop Restaurant must take immediate and appropriate measures to rectify these concerns. I hope the establishment will address these issues promptly, ensuring fair and equal treatment for all patrons, regardless of their background. I felt deeply disappointed, and I think anyone wouldn't want to back this place.

Wouldnt mark that low this place if it was more value/quality. This is not a fancy place, and the food is mediocre. Sushi rolls were getting destroyed from a touch., However expect around 100$ to pay for various fees if you have around 200$ order. Also, worst hookah I had and very bad service for hookah. You needed every time to call a person to change charcoals. That person would never come if we didnt call.
