This place is A+. The waitress was tentative. The prices were great. The show was comparable to the major chain. Drinks were reasonably priced. The owner was nice.

Listen up! This is the BEST hibachi experience I have ever had. Highly recommend making your way to come here for dinner. From amazing staff to delicious food, I want to come back here everyday if my wallet would allow me to! Please don't pass up on the opportunity and make a reservation because they will be fully booked day of.

Excellent tasty food with chefs that are entertaining and knowledgeable. They cooked our food imperfection and it’s my favorite place for a meal.

I'm so glad Mori Teppan Grill is still in operation. The food quality is excellent and the staff, including Mori is wonderful. Enjoy!

This place is real gem. Love the food; always delicious — and the owner Mori is a legend. Been many times, and will keep coming back!!

The steak and fried rice was very tasty! Recommend asking for the steak fat parts.

Great Teppan Grill. MORI is the best!

Plastic utensils: the meal and the service were both excellent, which is why it was surprising that they use plastic. The New York Strip with shrimp was great and I would definitely order that again next time.

They tried to scam me out of $40! The menu listed one price, but the check showed a different one, hoping I wouldn’t notice. Be careful!

Filthy, plastic spoons (classy), food was okay at best. Grew up in Glendale and this was my first time. Turn on the lights and clean that dump... the grills at the table have brown crust on them.

We wanted teppanyaki on a recent trip to LA and stumbled onto Mori. After multiple attempts to call and no one answering we showed up around 7pm and were able to get seated on a fairly busy dinner seating.
Our chef didn't put on much of a show, but I'm more interested in the good than the show. I had the NY and chicken, my wife the NY and shrimp. The food was cooked well and the amount of steak and chicken I got was way more than I could eat (although much appreciated given how many palaces are shrinking portions). I knocked off a star as the seasoning was lacking and the only veggies you get are onions and zucchini.
We were pleasantly surprised with the prices, which for LA seemed like a steal.

It is an amazing and friendly place to eat with your family or friends.

there is not one Japanese item on the menu. No tempora no teriyaki and certainly no sushi. most of the items on the menu are Chinese or just meat options. The exhaust fans do not work so the place is smoked out, Lots of smoke in your face while the cook prepares your food. And the best thing of all plastic forks and spoons while you spend $40 per plate..... Absolutely dirty and Outdated... Very disappointing to hold a family dinner party at.... Folks rating this restaurant above 3 stars have very low expectations.

Good food but not much of a show with cooking and the restaurant is run down, especially the bathrooms, for what you pay, you’d expect bit nicer.
