Overall, I was disappointed. Dinner for 2 on a Thursday night. We shared the Loaded Hummus which was good, but not special, served with crispy pieces of flatbread. I asked about a drink menu, but was told they “didn't have one” which was odd. The server said I could “tell her what I wanted” and they could make it, but without knowing selections/pricing I opted for iced tea. Lost sale for them. I had the shish kebab plate and my friend ordered the chicken. Portions were generous. My beef was a little underdone and surprisingly tough. The basmati rice wasn't basmati - it was clearly a converted rice (which made me sad as I love the rice in Mediterranean restaurants). The chicken was excellent, tender and juicy; vegetables were well done. Service was so-so. On the plus side, great location with validated parking behind the building.
Amazing food at a great price with outstanding service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She recommended delicious plates to our entire party. The spicy pomegranate margarita on the rocks was pretty good too.
Positive experience on Father's Day. Wish they had a fermented chili hot sauce that is typically found for this types of meal
Been here a couple of times for breakfast and brunch first time for dinner and can't complain my dish was amazing
The chicken shishkabob was terrific. The amount of chicken was generous, tender, and well-spiced. The staff was great - a good table on a well-heated patio - our early New Year's Eve dinner was as good as it gets.
We had dinner before seeing a play at the Nocturne Theater (formerly Glendale Center Theater). Walking distance. Friendly staff. Great food. The servings are large, so come with an appetite.
Took a long time to get our food even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Food was very good though once it arrived
My only critique is the noise level of the music was so loud it was hard to hear the person I was with across the table. But the service, the food, and the ambience were wonderful other than that.
Discovered Olive and Salt when we attended an event at the Alex Theater. Service was good, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the loaded hummus (and appreciate that they don't stint on the pita!). I had the jewel salad with chicken added. The chicken was not the usual strips of plain baked chicken but chunks of the marinated chicken. So good!
Great casual Mediterranean spot with some veranda seating and indoor airconditioned seating. Fast and friendly service.

It was our first time. We were able to sit right away and get service quickly. Each meal were delicious and delightful. The server was attentive even when juggling her other tables.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good food. Great place to gather with family, friends or colleagues.
Although this restaurant was very crowded and evidently popular, we found it lacking. When arriving we had a table waiting for us, and were given menus. After ordering, we noticed wine bottles on display but our menu had no selections. Appetizer arrived and after finishing, the wait for entrees was rather long. When these finally arrived, one, which was a vegetable skewer turned out to be a row of charred mushrooms, not appealing. The rest of the entrees tasted pretty bland. Our server was very nice and solicitous, but had missed giving us the wine menu. The restaurant looked like was in a formerly French themed space, which is OK but the decor had barely changed to Mediterranean. So, like the rest of the experience , they didn't have it together.
Servers and staff were excellent and food was great. Big portions, everything was fresh and tasty. Plenty of vegetarian options and the hummus was super tasty. Music a bit loud and the room cold until we closed the door to the patio area.
