I recently visited this Philz Coffee location and was disappointed by several aspects of my experience. The hygiene standards seemed lacking, with many restrooms lacking paper towels, which is a basic necessity for cleanliness.
I also noticed a general air of carelessness among the employees, which affected the overall service. It felt like there was a lack of attention to detail and professionalism while the vibe feels like most employees are under a controlled substance. More like a zombie liberal shelter!
I hope Philz can address these issues moving forward, as cleanliness and professionalism should be priorities in any café. I look forward to seeing improvements in the future.

Frequent buyer, but today was the last straw. Very unprofessional team behind the counter, just chatting away while several people are waiting in line in front of them. Almost purposely laughing and holding what appears to be nonrelated conversation. Thought this was different place, but quality of hires needs to be reconsider.

Coffee is usually great, but employees only care about talking to each other.. more than doing their job. Walked in with nobody ahead of me, still had to wait 15 minutes to get my coffee only to dump it out because the taste had nothing to do with what I ordered (a mocha Tesora).

I went here for a morning of remote work due to ease of parking and availability of outlets. Table space can be an issue since all were in use after 9am. Luckily the library is close and plenty of alternatives within walking distance. WiFi is stable as well - overall recommended if visiting and frustrated with options within
