I drove 8 hours from Sacramento to come and try this bakery out that everyone was saying was the best food the ever had. Not only was it the best sweets I ever had it was ridiculously under priced, I honestly asked the manager how they were making money lol. The same food I bought from here would have easily been 4 times the price in Sacramento. Delicious food and a good price you can’t beat it. When you go in ask for George, he was very kind and patient while helping us since we were from out of town.

Got my rosca de Reyes but they didn’t give my mother the baby Jesus they come to put in it… very sad no one mention to her when checking out or if she needed to buy it. It was fun seen how lucky everyone was to not hit. But by the end of the rosca was emty… very unfortunate.

Wonderful surprise. We were visiting and a friend took us. The service was good and fast. Food brought back childhood memories. I am Cuban, the croquetas and Coffee hit the spot. I will be back

You can't go wrong with Portos. Best goodies for any occasion
I wish they cut people off here like they do at bars when someone’s had too much.
I’d be first on the list.
This place is SO good. Truly something for everyone: they have savory potato balls and croquettes , bread , cakes and flaky croissants.
The prices are super affordable.
The service is always incredible. I’ve been so many times and never had a bad experience. Everyone who works there is so kind and welcoming.
Try the guava strudel — a party for your tastebuds.

Well, how can you go wrong with this LA classic? It is a must try for anyone in the area and anyone visiting for a good reason: the food is very good. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try very much of their enormous menu, but what I did try was quite good. I had their guava and cheese pastry as well as their just cheese pastry.
Both were great, but interestingly, it seemed the just cheese pastry was a bit less crumbly than the one with guava. That’s the only thing I didn’t like (it was a bit too dry).
Other than that, very, very good. Pretty solid prices for the area, and the filling was very nice and not too sweet, which I liked. I definitely recommend you try this place out and I’d love to come back and try more items.
