I stumbled upon a humble Japanese noodle spot with authentic broth and no frills. The miso-based ramen had depth and real flavor. Staff were friendly but quiet, just focused on cooking. No signage, but it’s there if you look. Great find for noodle lovers
The ramen was just okay. The broth lacked depth—it wasn’t bad, just kind of flat and one-note. Noodles were a bit overcooked for my taste, and the chashu was more dry than tender. Service was friendly though, and the place was clean. I really wanted to love it, but it didn’t live up to the hype.
I love this place, I just got the ribeye bulggogi and some gyoza to go. The karage is excellent. Best gyoza I have had in Glendale. The service is excellent and friendly. Highly recommended.
