It's really a pity. An Iranian restaurant where you can't even find an Iranian worker... then all the employees are Strange who neither understand Farsi nor English. We had to wait for hours because of receiving the wrong order. Cold and tasteless food.?♂️?♂️?♂️

I'm not suggesting at all, the service was awful, we waited for food for a long time then they brought the wrong food, my food quality wasn't good?

Rafi’s does not need an introduction to the general population of LA. A well kept secret of probably one of the top ten busiest restaurants in United States!!!!A bold statement! They serve authentic Iranian/Persian dishes. They pretty much serve one of the best kabobs in USA and rival many great restaurants in Iran.Granted their filet meat (Barg) is not as good as it used to be (despite the continuous price raises due to inflation) it is pretty tasty!Their crowning jewel is how they make the variety of rices. Amazing!!!!Their ground meat kabob (koubideh) is far better (again not as good as it used to be) - I’ve been frequenting Rafi’s since it opened and if I’m in LA I get most of my meals from them (lunch or dinner).
Overrated but good. They actually give a good amount of food

Lubia polo was really bad. The rice was soggy, beans were squished and not cut. It also barely had any diced beef in it. Service is really fast and good. Tables have single use papers on them which created a cheap experience for the customers.Barley soup tasted bland and was nothing like authentic persian barely soups.

Definitely overhyped restaurant. Rice was dry and so was the chicken kabob. They should learn from Darya restaurant how to make chicken kabobs. Any mediocre restaurant can make better chicken kabobs than this place.Very disappointed. Never coming back to this place.
It was delicious. I did have the chicken kabob. It was a little bit undercooked in some pieces only but it was delicious. I brought the rest of it home. I will cook it here a little bit more when I eat my leftovers. The service was wonderful. Everybody's very nice!

Raffi's Place in LA is a gem for Persian cuisine lovers. My visit was largely impressive, especially with the standout Barg Kabob, a must-try for its perfectly seasoned and cooked meat. The Albaloupolo, blending sour cherries with rice, was another highlight. However, the Koobideh Kabob was a letdown, lacking the juicy tenderness expected of such a dish. Despite this, Raffi's Place shines for its unique flavors, making it a vibrant spot for exploring Persian cuisine in LA.
