Beautiful design poorly executed. I flew across country for my husband's birthday and decided to have a cake made for my husband using Roobina's cake shop. The designs are gorgeous, but the taste of the cake was horrible. The texture was crumbly and chalky and left much to be desired. My husband was not impressed by the cake and I ended up buying another when I made it back to the east coast. They also delivered the cake late and never called me to notify me.

I ordered my 30th birthday cake from Roobina’s and it was a hit! I did a cake tasting a few months prior and chose the raspberry filling which is amazing! My only complaint is, when I went to pick up the cake, it didn’t have a covering on it. The employee gave me the cake as pictured and put it my front seat, telling me not to make sudden stops. I couldn’t put my seatbelt over it so I had to occasionally hold the base of the cake with one hand and drive with the other. I live 30 minutes from the bakery. Very inconvenient. Otherwise, the cake itself and design was amazing which is why I’m giving 4 stars.

My little girl was turning 6 yrs old and she requested to have a cake with the Disney character of Elsa from the film Frozen.There was just one spot that I was aware of who could endeavor such an accomplishment, and that was Roobina's. I called and addressed a staff part who guaranteed me that they would gladly make this sort of cake.On the day I went to get the cake, I was simply astounded at what they had done. The cake appeared as though it emerged from the Disney film.

This is not related to their products, but is related to how they do customer service.I was jogging with my dog and I didn't realize the dog I was dog sitting hated heat and he fortunately stopped by near Roobina's Cake shop. I tended to my dog and gave him water and allowed him to rest. The owner of the shop, after bidding goodbye to his friend, saw my dog panting and lying down and offered to provide water. At this point, I accepted the gratitude. After 1 min, the owner returned and gave my dog a bowl with cold water to drink from. I thanked him for his generosity and he also gave me cold water for the rest of my walk (can't run anymore since my dog is tired).I hope I pronounce his name right, the person's name was Vartha.Thank you! I will order from this place one day.

Rude staff,didn't even let me walk in to see inside and they just had a couple inside before me.Better just to order from a different place ngl. And this is the correct cake store no mistake on that.

My daughter was turning 6 yrs old and she asked to have a cake with the Disney character of Elsa from the movie Frozen.There was only one place that I knew of who could attempt such a feat, and that was Roobina's. I called and spoke to a staff member who assured me that they would be more than happy to make this kind of cake.On the day I went to pick-up the cake, I was just astonished at what they had done. The cake looked like it came out of the Disney movie.Every parent at the event asked who had done the cake. It was a big hit. My daughter didn't even want to cut it, but when she did I was amazed at the flavor and the light fluffiness of the cake and the creaminess of the icing, not at all sugar ridden like most icings. Most guests had to have at least 2 pieces. I just want to Thank Roobina and her fine staff for making my daughter's birthday a day that she will never forget. You will always be getting my business.
