This place is a gem! Food is super yummy and the portions are huge! Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. Ambiance is very chill.

What happened to this place?!? I was scared to eat their fish.. don't have time for food poisoning honestly. Won't be back.

Overpriced. This is a photo of a $17 sushi roll. And the food was not good, ingredients were cheap. Won’t be returning here.

We ate here again in January: My friend is vegan & she loved her specially made to order food. I, on the other hand had pork udon. Udon is seriously lacking, usually there is a modicum of art to the presentation, this was a piece of meat & regular mushrooms floating in broth w/ noodles. Although the broth was tasty, the dish lacked the egg, enoki, & greens that usually are a part of the soup.

I went to Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge for my birthday dinner last year late at night. The food was excellent, especially the dessert. It was the first time I ate mochi ice cream, and I will try it more often the next time I'm there.

This place was very good! Me and my boyfriend went here after going to color me mine right next door. We were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The service was also amazing, the waitresses were very attentive and so nice. The vibe was also very chill and we enjoyed everything a lot! We sat down around 6:30, it wasn't too packed until 7:30ish they started getting busy. This is a great place, can't wait to go back and try more food!

Sake used to be a very good restaurant, it isn't anymore. The food is marginal. It's difficult to order for pickup. They don't have a menu on their website. There was an attempt by someone to post pictures of their menu online that are basically illegible. If you decide to go to the restaurant to place the order, you get to wait for 20 minutes or more before it's ready. The take out containers are so fragile, they are not meant to be used for storing any food that isn't consumed once opened. Not recommended. There are too many others within walking distance that are much better.

Sushi is amazingly delicious and well prepared but the service could use some bedside manners. I enjoy their lunch specials knowingly they close at 2 pm. I'm always next door at Spa Pura so I like to grab a bite on my the out, but my last visit was not very welcoming. They clearly didn't want my business based on the server's reaction to my solo entrance at 1:40 pm. I already knew what I wanted and was ready to order immediately after sitting down but was reminded of their closing time and almost rejected from ordering for walking in so late. I was treated like an inconvenience from server and sushi chef as he stated words of disappointment before shutting off lights while I was there along with one other party of guests. I quickly ate, paid and literally left by 2:04 pm but don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

HORRIBLE PLACE!I was with my little puppy they told me that its okay to seat outside and then came and said that dogs are not allowed when we ordered our food (my dog is a service animal)The service is horrible here and the waitresses don’t know how to talk respect fully with a customer. They gave me attitude and I just left from thereNever going back

Food is good, service is o.k. you have to flag a waiter or server for whatever you need. Not a big deal but when you pay a lot of money for food, the service should follow suit.

NO wonder why this place has no business and gone down the drain. I am just shocked what this place has become from what it was years ago. I used to come here twice a week today is the last time I will ever step food in this restaurant.Food is disgusting, we had to complain almost about every plate that was brought to our table, something I never have to do at places like seaweed handroll bar and Hikari! And they make you feel very uncomfortable complaining as if it is your fault the sushi is bad.I specifically asked the lady server look if the sushi is not fresh just don’t bring it to me because the Spicy Tuna handroll was very dry and the only way it would be like that if it was siting in the container for a very long time. She didn’t acknowledge the warning signs I gave her and she kept bringing what we ordered and I had to send back an awfully smelly stenchy Scallop handroll that reeks from a mile away. I also had to send back two lobster handrolls because it tasted sour! Furthermore, no sauce and the lobster was cold! On top of all this I found a dead fly on one of my plates that was the end of my experience (see attached) I asked for the check and told her you can even charge me for the plate that had the fly I just want to get out of here. Anyways she comes back and sure does charge me for the plate with fly in it. This is coming from an avid frequent sushi eater, if you guys want a sushi place where it won’t get you seriously sick do not eat here. This place proves its carelessness towards their customers health and well-being by serving rotten fish that can make you end up in the hospital. This place will not survive like this and I can now understand why they no longer have the business they used to years ago with the previous owners.

I'm not an active sushi eater, but this place was amazing. Udon noodles, edamams, sashimi assortment, rolls... sake! All good.

Great service. Our server Sarah was prompt, attentive, proactive, thoughtful, and friendly! Tasty sushi. We got salmon nigiri, salmon sashimi, jalapeño salmon roll, and tempura calamari roll; all delicious. We also got the Shumai appetizer - that was not too impactful as compared to the rest. Overall vibe is solid, the outdoor area could use a little tlc/refinement; but clean and down overall. One thing we would was that the outdoor tables were too tall for the chairs; or perhaps the chairs were too low. It made the eating seated position a bit awkward. But overall, great experience, quick service, no wait during prime dinner time. Friendly staff. Some parking on Honolulu, and a few lots south of the Main Street. One note, there is a martial arts school a few doors west of the restaurant, and during class pick-up/drop off it can get a little crowded. We were blocked in our car, which was parked on Honolulu, upon our exit around 8pm. We normally go to Blue Fish across the way. While Blue Fish has a nicer outdoor dining atmosphere, we felt Sake had better value, and portions. And their sushi was just as delicious.
