I used to love this place, but lately had twice very bad experiences. First time I was in line and saw that customer in front of me was touching borek with bare hands, and took it off the bag and put on the table. Old guy, who was a cashier, took that borek, and placed on the lower shelf. And sold the same borek to the following customer. That was just gross and disgusting. Yesterday, 7/19/2025, I was an early customer, and wanted to buy boreks to treat my guests. The same old guy, who is cashier, took all boreks from the lower shelf and placed to my bag. On my question are those fresh, he replied- yes, of course. I did not check, but when I arrived home, it appeared that boreks were not fresh at all, and even corners were dried out. Of course I just trash those and would never treat my guests with this kind of food. This is not acceptable way to have business. Customers beware, that old guy is a lier, and does not know any sanitary procedures. Gross and not acceptable. He should not work in any place with food services. When cashier is a younger woman service is great.

Spicy cheese bread good, and the muharamma really nice. But ofc the lahmejun are the key, and so delicious. Buy a set to eat in next few days and another for the freezer.

Best lahmajun in LA! I have visited a few of their stores but the Glendale ones are closest to my home so use them most often. Awesome customer service, I am sure you will be well looked after here.
