As soon as we entered the AC felt great especially since it was a hot day! Greeted with a smile as my husband and I entered the restaurant, we booked a reservation for our anniversary. Lauren gave some great recommendations on drinks, food and dessert! She was very sweet, definitely would come back. Thank you Lauren for your amazing service 😌

Great quality, definitely coming back. Very nice variation of Nigiri's, hand rolls and starters

I went to Seaweed last night and the food was great. The service was good as well. I would highly recommend the cucumber salad to start off with. It's one of the best I have tasted. Also loved the hand rolls. My server recommended the albacore, and it was spot on.

So here is what surprised me in a not so good way. When I got the bill, I was charged an 18% dine in service charge. What the heck is that. On top of that, I am supposed to pay a tip as well.

The food is great. Just be aware that you will be assessed an 18% DINE IN SERVICE CHARGE and then you will also have to pay a tip. So this is like a 38% gratuity that you are hit with.

Come on really?

This was my first visit here, and I always give credit where it's due. While the food is decent. it's definitely not worth money. I've had better quality fish, service, larger portions and similar alcohol selections all throughout California and at a cheaper cost than what I paid for this meal. I highly suggest that the restaurant focus less on having expensive alcohol, and focus on the food. A sushi style serving “bar” doesn't literally mean placing a full menu of expensive alcohol bottles on one side of the menu then proceed to serve sashimi/sushi/wagyu at 3x the price to be served as small as an appetizer... try focusing on serving food at a better pace, and obviously...decreasing your back stock of expensive alcohol, for a larger budget to provide food at a normal cost for the quality. Thanks.

Wow! This place is perfection! Every food item that the server suggested was amazing . Service was great. They really don't lie when they say they have the best seaweed ! YUM

Really wanted to like this place but the food was nothing special and too expensive for what you get. We spent over $100 and felt we barely ate anything and so we had to go to Porto's, which we enjoyed more. The worst part is the service—the server took away my unfinished drink at the end of the meal when we were still there, and the hostess didn't say anything to us when we left even when we passed in front of them.

Took my family after a football game at the rose bowl. It's very close. The food was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Will definitely dine there again.

Over priced and low quality. You can’t really even tell whats inside hand rolls since they all taste the same and miso soup tasted awful . What’s surprising is they automatically charge 18% service fee to our bill even though we were only a table of two!!! I definitely don’t recommend this place since it’s expensive and low quality and will never come back!

Amazing as always. Favorite rolls included the spicy lobster, spicy scallop, blue crab, the Lena, and the yellowtail hand rolls. Chef Christiaan made our rolls extra special by adding extra serrano peppers for a kick!

Amazing!! Always such a special time here. Great service, everyone is so nice and the food is divine. Also had the dessert for my first time and might have been my favorite thing on the menu. It was a croissant pudding dish. So excited to be back soon!

Preface: This is one of the first Handroll spots I've ever disliked. I've tried over 10 different locations because I love handrolls. This was the only one I actually disliked the rolls I got.

I came here for the handrolls and not only is it 50-100% more expensive, at $10-20+ per Handroll, compared to other handroll spots, but the handrolls were either super salty, too sweet or way too sour, out of the 10 handrolls my wife and I got, literally only one was actually good where we wanted more.

I also had to ask for wasabi 3 times before I actually got it.

Overall, we spent $131 for 10 handrolls and an appetizer and I never really say this but we regret coming here.
