Great Persian food in Glendale. This is a no-frills gem tucked away from the beaten path but has a delicious home-cooked feel to it.
Leg of Lamb had to be my favorite thing that I ordered. Comes with a delicious lentil soup, lavash, and onion to start. Very consistent and delicious. Would definitely recommend for lunch if you’re in the area.

If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience with authentic flavors and outstanding service, this restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect.
The Borani was a delightful start—creamy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with fresh bread. The Mat Mosir was a unique and rich addition that we absolutely loved. For the main course, we had the Chicken Shish Kebab with rice, and it was simply outstanding. The chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection, complemented by the fragrant, fluffy rice.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was impeccable. The staff (Ben) was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience.
If you’re craving delicious food and top-notch hospitality, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back soon!

THIS IS A SCAM PLACE THEY CHARGED ME SO MUCH MONEY WITHIN 3 MINTURES ALL I WAS TRYING TO DO WAS CHANGE DELIVERY DATE AND TIME. YOU NEED TO HAVE THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT CHECK THEIR MEET THEY CLAIM TO HAVE COOKED 17 ORDERS OF MEAT IN 3 MINUTES WHEN I SIMPLY WANTED TO CHANGE THE ORDER DELIVERY DATE THEY CLAIMED THEY COOKED IT IN 3 MINUTES AND WILL CHARGE ME THE ENTIRE AMOUNT REGARDLESS. AND THAT I HAD TO PLACE ANOTHER ORDER AND PAY AGAIN FOR THE DELIVERY DATE CHANGE! THIS IS A SCAM AND DIRTY PLACE I WOULDNT TRUST OR RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EITHER!!!

I was a regular at Shamshiri between 1992 and 1998 when I worked in Glendale. The food is as delicious as I remember it. 4 stars for service because I didn't get the lunch menu price when I ordered at 3.30pm.

Decided to try this place cause of the famous name “Shamshiri”. Ordered two barg kabobs and asked for mine to be medium (refer to the photo) and other one to be well done. Other kabob came fully burnt. Asked the waiter to replace it. And told him even mine is well done and not medium. We were told that mine is medium and other one is actually well done. And that they can’t remake it (!!) so we were offered the cheap koobideh instead! Such a weird experience at an Iranian restaurant! We were told that they can’t make us another kabob cause they can’t redo this one and don’t want to charge us twice! And I said ok, you can’t charge us for a burnt kabob. The waiter went and talked to the “manager” who never even cared to show up for our concern and we were given a receipt with one kabob taken off. Such a bad experience at an Iranian restaurant that kabobs should be their bread n butter! Do NOT waste your time and money here. The quality of the food, and manner are very low here.

Here is my review! 1st time here and when you talk in your greeted by a very handsome man. He was very polite, and the smell when you walk in is amazing! I tried the cherry rice and chicken! Delicious! I will be back here to try more of their delicious food. Very clean atmosphere, and I do recommend everyone to try their food! Bon apatite!
