I never leave reviews, but the pastries we bought here were fantastic. A peach and almond danish which is one of the best I've had in LA, a pain suisse and an almond croissant, both excellent.
Their coffee is best in town!
Very clean and enjoyable place!
Highly recommended.
Sweet Demi Lune Bakery has not just flourished—it has become a cherished cornerstone of North Glendale and Montrose. Once a promising newcomer, it is now a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Walking through the doors, you're still met with the same welcoming warmth—friendly smiles, lively chatter, and the irresistible scent of freshly baked perfection.
The bakery continues to set the standard, skillfully expanding its menu while perfecting its signature pastries. Their croissants remain unmatched—flaky, buttery, and impossibly light. And the Kouign-Amann? Still a showstopper, drawing pastry lovers from near and far with its rich, caramelized layers.
Now, Sweet Demi Lune has elevated its offerings even further, introducing breakfast and savory options alongside its renowned pastries. Whether you're in the mood for a light bite or something indulgent, there's no shortage of tempting choices. Their pistachio raspberry croissants, in particular, deserve high praise—layers of nutty richness intertwined with vibrant berry sweetness make them nothing short of sublime.
Beyond the menu, the bakery has embraced its role as a community hub. From seasonal specials to lively events, Sweet Demi Lune is more than a place to grab a pastry—it’s a space where people gather, connect, and celebrate life’s simple joys.
If you haven’t visited recently, consider this your invitation. Sweet Demi Lune Bakery remains at the top of its game, ready to delight you with familiar favorites and enticing new creations—all wrapped in a little extra magic.
One of the most delicious and beautiful pastries I’ve ever had!
I finally I find bakery who really came make pastries and taste are perfect I always come Honolulu area free drinks coffee and see my friends but I have never see French bakeries in this area but today is day I search to find bakery I find them on google maps with good reviews I said to myself let’s go try
And actually taste are perfect
Thank you 😊
Very delicious and decadent pastries. Authentic French bakery in the heart of Montrose. Very friendly and kind staff / owner. Make sure to pick up the pastries fresh in the morning because they run out fast. I’ve had their Kouign Amann, Apricot Almond Cream, varied Croissants, and even savory sandwiches. Everything tastes amazing!
I love this place. It's a half block from the main Honolulu strip so it's much more peaceful, the food is always a delight, Armand (apologies if it's spelt wrong) is super friendly and always says hi to my dog while he waits outside.
You have to try their spin on almond croissant and any of their Kouig Aman, just so good.
The service, quality of food and drinks, the ambiance and friendliness are all the best. All ingredients are picked for authenticity of flavor and top-notch baking quality. Our espressos are always double the amount of other places, and the artistry of the pastries makes you want to try everything. This family-run business is what makes the beginning of our days something to look forward to each time we visit.
The BEST COFFEE AND PASTRIES in Montrose. Amazing prices, amazing people working, clean and honestly so much better than starbucks or coffeebean. Buy local

I never make reviews, but I love this place so much that I want to make sure it gets the traffic it deserves. The pastries are amazing (and I have tried many places - I am French in LA struggling to find it). Lattes are on par. A must go when in Montrose.
Pastries and drinks are on the expensive side, compared to a chain like Peets and so on, but matches the quality, and I have seen more expensive for less quality.

We were welcomed by both workers directly, willing to answer any questions and provided us with details as to how they produce their croissants.
The Apple and Butter croissants were probably the best I’ve had in years. Parking out back and reasonable prices for the quality. Recommend!

This place has the best bread I have ever tried. It was not too sweet, perfectly crunchy/fluffy simultaneously and flavorful. The customer service was amazing! We will be coming back for sure! We got the pistachio and raspberry croissant btw
